If the game wasn’t bad enough I had a group of blokes sat a row behind me who acted like they were at their first proper game and were obviously members of the Lee Angol fan club.
Their cries of “go on Lee” even when it was Vernam or Pereira with the ball made a poor match even more tiresome.

Two up in five minutes. If we were even a half decent side we would have gone for the jugular and totally smashed Scunnie. The story of our season - dreadful.

They were sat sitting right behind me and they also for some reason occasionally chanted “Feeeeeneeeey” in homage to the Scunthorpe journeyman striker Liam Feeney.
    Very strange.

My MOTM today was split between Vernam and the ref. Thought he handled the game really well better than that attention seeking Twit we had v Tranmere.

I think there is a chloroform leak in the home dressing room at half time.

Yes. I didn't disagree with any of his decisions. A refreshing change.

Walking to the match , my lad said 6-0 today, i almost peed myself laughing.
After 5 mins i thought he could be right. We should have been further in front before Bass decided to feel sorry for Scunthorpe and gift them a goal. Unfortunately our players confidence is so brittle, it takes very little to knock them off thier stride.
We have no leaders in the team to grab them by the scruff of the neck when things do not go right.
Hopefully this type of players are the first on Mr Hughes shopping list.

Also thought in general Kelleher was much more composed when on the ball than Songo'o was.

Songo is poor on the ball at the back. Far too safe.

To be fair we were playing the worst side in professional football so can't really judge him on today's performance.

Decent start then declined to a woeful second half. Scunny were such a poor side. I was begging for the game to end. Just one home game and I’m sad to say I’m quite pleased about that.

I said to the grandson oh for a driving force in midfield like a Gary Jones, we've seen little with regards entertainment this season so the first half was very good even against a load of kids but no excuse for the second half.
What disappointed me most was players had chance to play the easy ball into the box for a simple knock in 2 in as any minutes first half from Angol to Walker but he went for glory, its a team game a better team may have got a draw today because of our waisted chances.

And that's whats so frustrating Keith Hill put the kids out and we should have given Scunthorpe a spanking, we certainly don't have it in this present squad but we need a driving force in midfield who wont allow the easing off that we saw in the second half.

    Unspectacular performance.
Did the second half actually take place?
Atmosphere none existent after our second goal.
One more home game to go and the nightmare of a season is over.
