Sure, it's quite surprising that other civilians don't hang around shooting videos while their neighbours are being shot in the back of the head by Russian troops.

Do you have Twitter? It doesn't take long to find non-media images and videos.

Of course they'll just be crisis actors and providing biased reporting anyway.

Satellite images showing civilian corpses lying in the same position in the street from when the Russians were in control to when they were discovered after the Russians retreated three weeks later.

I think that the reports have to be taken at face value, The Russians claim they were not responsible but it is up to them to prove that is the case, The lack of any mobile phone evidence is concerning as almost everything is filmed on them these days and would think the residents would use them for evidence

Next you'll be telling me that those two Russian's who visited Salisbury weren't really going to see the Cathedral!

Nah. Just having a weekend break away from their jobs in the GRU and out for a bit of sightseeing around a beautiful British city. Anything else is just scurrilous rumour mongering. ;)

not on the scale i suspect the russians will regarding the inverse, but this is a war and things are often misreported/misunderstood lost in the fog of war, so it's key to find verification where it exists to determine as much truth as possible

Putin may have thought he was subjugating a satellite country, while in fact he is forging the birth of a nation with this war

The story was broken by the NY Times and all it takes is one Google to see that it's on the BBC, The Mirror, Daily Mail, Independent so it's good to see that all these niche establishments are plugging the gaps left by the mainstream media.

I come from two points, One is that Russia are at fault as the aggressor and should not have attacked Ukraine and two is that the government of the Ukraine and its multi million pound president have in some ways brought it upon themselves by claiming they were going to join NATO even after repeated threats from Putin of it would lead to war and built up its forces unless on the border to reinforce he was serious with the threat, So in my opinion the mess was started by the Ukrainian government egged on by the USA and UK but the resulting violence is unacceptable, The Ukraine people had an international guarantee of independent sovereignty by an international agreement from 2014 agreed with the UK, USA, and Russia but this was not enough for Zelenski he has thrown it away in an attempt to join Nato, Now after millions of his people have suffered he has withdrawn his attempt to join NATO for peace, Make no mistake Putin has always in his heart wanted the Ukraine to be part of Russia but the 2014 treaty stopped him, But the threat to tear that treaty up and join NATO played directly in to Putins hands

Ukraine have said they will investigate any potential war crimes on their side, that’s the big difference between the two. You can’t always control what individual soldiers do, but you can punish them if they commit such crimes. Instead Russia just label it conspiracy and try brush it under the carpet…

So Al Jazeera broke a story that said that the NY Times had run a story and so the NY Times then copied the Al Jazeera story but claimed that they had come up with the story so that it didn't contradict the original Al Jazeera story all while being banned from running the story by the White House. OK, that sounds plausible.

Let me know when you see the video on mainstream TV UK news channels unlike Aljazeera who have shown it, It is on the web if you seek it but not seen it on any UK news unlike the one the Russians have did which is on the news hourly with reports from various reporters,

I've seen the BBC news most nights over the last month and I haven't seen any videos of Russians shooting Ukrainian soldiers in the head but I'm sure you'll be able to provide an iPlayer link for me to catch up. However, your argument was that "mainstream media" were not covering the story because they were all banned by the White House but when challenged on that seemingly false statement you've just resorted to whataboutery rather than providing some substantive evidence which makes it hard to take you seriously.
