No idea whg you think ROD will improve a back four, where we've just had two of the worst performances from a LB and we've a midfielder playing at CB.

Amazing that Bass makes an outstanding save, the others then make error after error, resulting in Bass's error - but of course let's throw the loanee under the bus and forget why ROD was dropped in the first place.

 

Oh and I forgot the keeper situation……..God that was awful keeping…One minute a worldie save and the next an unnecessary challenge on a player who was going nowhere

 

O'Donnell is not the answer. No chance he makes the saves that Bass did in the last 5 minutes! Rash decision aside, Bass is way better than O'Donnell and Bass isn't anything special.

 

Can't add much to that, sums up the game I watched.

 

Is it just me, or do we flag badly in games? Fitness looks a real issue.

 

Is this the Paudie that made one mistake, but cleared off the line twice?

 

Paudie was poor. And the award of MOTM to Songo'o was a joke.

 

So that excuses him. Not really Jon. He’s a liability and when he starts to pass it the entire stadium takes a collective gasp of breath. Bet you £10 to the burns unit he’s not here next season? Hughes isn’t a fool.

 

Agreed…Evans, Gilly and Cooke with Watt close behind were the best on show.

Several of us thought that Songo was MoM.

However, that says more about how terrible Paudie was today and frankly Folkes virtually every time we play.

They made more errors in this match, than Bass has since he's been here

Agree. But someone has to be blamed. We can't be picking on our local boy come good Foulds, so we'll pile the shit on Bass and pretend ROD is peak Schmeichel

 

Hughes arguably got as much out of our lot today as I could expect any manager to do. Hughes can't do anything about what is a woeful defensive unit and upfront where had the same problems when creating chances under Adams.
I'm just appreciative of seeing a damn good game of football where we played possession football, restricting a good footballing side of the ball.

 

Yet the a sponcors gave Songo MOTM .

They played the cynical game better than us. We were totally on top with them giving the ball away and suddenly their RB gets cramp, flaps around for five minutes for the team, momentum stopped.

And then there was the guy who took Cook out.

We're simply not streetwise, which is why I'm not blaming Bass as he was let down by those in front of me him

 

Just get the 3 wins we need and look forward to a rebuild should be peed off at a loss but there where a lot more positives than negatives we play that way for the rest of the season we will be fine

 

I and a few others agreed. Considering how poor Foulds and Paudie was, he did a great job. Three times Paudie threw him under the bus with poor play and that was just the first half.

Wouldn't have complained if Cooke or Evans had got it though
