I don't see what Rupp showing "he actually cares" has do with anything.

The players of limited technical ability are from the same pool other L2 clubs get their players from. As we have a good budget at this level - certainly Top 7, I don't get these complaints about lack of investment.

If you mean you'd like to see Rupp spend £300K on a player, then I get you - but is that really important?

It's the scattergun nature of the recruitment ever since Rupp took over that's been the problem, far more than the investment.

 

No I'd have been more suprised if he had got on a plane.

I don't get the dissing that Songo gets. I'd like Hughes to play him in his proper position, which is a CDM for more than four or so matches on the trot.

On a different scale, people were delighted when Doyle went - until of course he found his form at Swindon, Bolton, i.e. everywhere but here.

FCD has shown nothing more than Songo, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt, because he wasn't the former managers favourite but not players who are proven to be good and might just do better under Hughes.
