If Foulds is back, I'm going for a back four of FCD, Hendrie, Songo'o, Foulds.

Seem to recall posters saying Hendrie had been playing CB a bit recently.

 

There's a chance we're going to get hammered tomorrow.

I could see that back line letting in four or five.

And it's about the best back line we can field.

Don't get me wrong, I think we can outplay Harrogate, they're not very good, but that back line is chronic. If things start going wrong, heads will drop.

 

Who's playing centre forward?

 

Fans fault. Toxic environment, keyboard warriors, boo boys or some nonsense, nothing to do with the club

It's genuinely not enjoyable anymore. I cannot remember the last time I went to City and enjoyed myself. In fact, I dread going it's that bad. Dull atmosphere, dour football, empty seats galore, usually optimistic and energetic fans around me just appear lost and can't be ars£d. Most of the players don't even give a toss either.

It's a truly tragic era for Bradford City FC.

 

He doesn't look big enough to me! I thought someone once said Foulds was a centre back. He would seem a better option to me, and although predominantly right footed Hendrie can play left back.

 

Trueman ready to think 'outside the box' to solve our defensive crisis. When I say 'crisis', what I really mean is, one of our centre backs is suspended. Thanks to the glorious recruitment planning of this club, that leaves us in a crisis.

Anyone else half expecting Tom Elliot to rock up at CB? all 6'4 of him...?

 

Don’t we need him up front?

 

I have no idea how a supposedly professional football club plays one up front and has half a dozen strikers on its books yet plays two centre backs and has a total of three of them. One who hadn’t played in the league in over a year prior to Saturday and another who is non league standard. Whether Turnbull was the right man or not, if there was ever a good reason for not getting rid of the recruitment director position that’s it right there.

 

This is Bradford City. We do things differently here.

 

If we are struggling for a CB then I don't see why we wouldn't give Cousin-Dawson a try there as that was his natural position growing up and where he plays for Northern Ireland. In a back 3 he could do well on the right of it then when Staunton is back fit we'd have 2 thirds of a back 3 at a good age with potential.

 

I’m predicting an all time low for the club tonight - a heavy home defeat. The players are past caring, they clearly don’t have any belief about making the play offs (as has been evident for weeks), the club is floundering, we have too many loans, injuries and suspensions.

0-4 incoming, I’m not going to the game, and I really don’t care anymore.

 

Foulds preferred position is centre back he-can slot in there. Don’t know if Ridehalgh can play or not

 

If you’re willing to accept he’s prone to lapses of concentration then I maybe, but for me I’d do Foulds, Songo’O and Hendrie in a back 3.

 

It's about time we defended "outside the box", instead of letting the opposition stroll there unchallenged
