We have probably sacked managers too quick in the past but that’s no excuse here. He is the most boring manager in years. He is completely deluded.

we ripped up our new recruitment system for him and it it’s even worse. He blames everyone but himself. His tactics are dull.
I don’t get the amount of excuses fans give him. Bowyer was sacked for being in the play offs if not just outside and was slated for his style. Adams is worse and because he got Morecambe promoted he is soem sort of hero who needs time and every one else is to blame but him. He’s crap. His football is crap. His tactics are crap. He is not endearing to the fans.
He was appointed with no prior consultation and no interview process by a man who’s only sport experience was with Featherstone Rovers
Sack him sparks and save some credibility

Thing is, if Adams actually improved the team after a loss or bad performance I wouldn't mind. But he hasnt. It's more of the same

I hope Sparks has heard that interview, it was clearly aimed at him, and fires him before he has chance to step foot in Valley Parade or Rawdon Meadows again

I understand the "give a manager time" bit but in that time you have to improve overall squad performance and DA just isn't doing that IMHO. We look no better (or as bad as) the previous 2-3 seasons.

I expected him to be somewhat defensive today but TO BLAME THE BRADFORD CITY FANS for all the shite ON the pitch is a Gerald Ratner moment.

I can only recall singing against a recent City manager @ Carlisle away Boxing day (Bowyer) and at home to Orient last week. So go feck yourself DA I along with all my Bantam supporters are most definitely NOT the problem.

What utter bollocks , we would be happy with some signs of forward thinking, progression on the pitch, tactics , commitment, anything but this constant rubbish he is responsable for , not us.

Failing to score goals when we’re on top in games and creating chances, has been one of our biggest Achilles heels all season. The other, being that the opposition require few chances to score, because our defence is terrible. If only there’d been a means by which we could have addressed that eh? Did we sign better defenders or a quality striker? No, we signed more backup strikers who don’t score goals, and a raft of attacking midfielders when the one part of our game that’s been ok, has been creating chances.

He's not wrong, though. The way this club has been run has been embarrassing and amateurish.

You can try and find fault in everything Derek says, but he's right about the running of the club. It's not been good enough whether he stays or goes.

 

He shouldn't say it publicly but he's not far off tbh.

 

Forgive me lord for i have sinned, i am guilty of being a loyal fan of Bradford City and questioning the great leader. Do not question the great leader, hail the great leader, got past the miserable stage now so just regard him as a figure of fun.

 

As players and as fans, you have to have a level of respect for, and belief in your manager. There’s nothing wrong with a manager being a bit of a bastard - in fact, that’s needed, but they have to be fair and they have to have a plan that people by into. I can’t buy into Adams at all. He’s a throughly dislikable person. Teams mirror their manager. This is a dislikable team too, in many respects.

I think he is bullying Mr Sparks into not sacking him that interview and the recent run of form is enough to prove him wrong
He is one deluded not to be trusted man wouldn't be surprised that when he leaves here his career is finished

Now even more clearer is the need for Mr Sparks to grow a pair and get rid before his own necks on the block

For an experienced manager who has managed promotions and been sacked he really does sound naive. His aggressive manner and opinions does him no favours. He wants time. Which manager doesn’t? The problem is he has shown nothing positive to date. If he had shown us something we could have been happy to give him time. The time he has had seems wasted.
With support for him as it is, despite having to pay him off, I’m not sure the club can afford to give him time. Realistically it’s gonna cost either way.
