I was gonna put the same but you put it across better :) so in all these months with a new scouting set up we end up with 5 loans.
    A keeper
    A winger whose gone missing
    A winger from Hearts
A striker with 11 goals in his last 95 games
    A rookie from Town

thank the lord for our new amazing scouting set up

2 weeks ago I was happy with where we were. Daly and Walker seemed decent additions and Bass showed what he was capable of at Walsall but since then nothing has been addressed! Our central midfield is weak as piss. Our 2 average centre backs are the first names on the team sheet due to having no viable backup to challenge them and well I’d do a job at rb over FCD and Threlkeld. I’m shocked to be honest that Adams hasn’t addressed any of this.

I ain’t at all I thought major movement would have happened in the first week in January you know deals in place etc but nothing or very little .......... we signed a keeper now he maybe an improvement on before but was that our number one target in player posistion ????
I mean I came away from the Rochdale game had you asked me then what need improving the last thing would have been a keeper ........ we’ve just lost and Angol but I ain’t having a go at the kid but is Elliot gonna get us more goals ????
I mean should Cook get injured then we really are in big bother ............. I mean I know strikers cost money but surly one of the local teams have got a young pacy kid in there reserves who would love the chance to show what he can do for his parent club .............. I mean time after time you see young kids getting goals at league one or two level and the majority they are loan players ............ why do we never go down that route ?????
I mean how many games have our juniors won this season ????
As far as I can gather they’ve been winning games for fun so why not bring one in from there ????
Sure they would have the full backing and support of the City fans

It was obvious once we made our 5th loan signing this week we wouldn’t get any more in.
I know we can sign 8 but there was no way we’d sign more than 6 with our penny pinching knowing one would always miss out every week.

Just at a loss with it all. We are, despite a shambolic run of form save for the last few weeks, not that far behind the play offs if we could string a run together and we are not even prepared to give it a go.
We have no money and are having to spend not a penny more than we raise. It’s quite clear now despite the bullshit Sparks speaks.

Think we should have a long hard think when we get the same shite once season tickets go on sale next year. It’s happened far too often. Boy who cried wolf

The club’s given up on this season. You don’t have a forward line of Cook, Robinson, Lavery and Elliot if you’re planning to score enough goals to trouble then play offs. Likewise with Threlkeld at RB. Taking the piss out of the fans in my opinion after talk of having a budget to put a good squad together and promotion. feck Sparks, Rupp and Adams.

RB a must. Central midfield to give Cooke and Watt competition a must. A quick striker to offer something different from the lumps we currently have a must.
I'm baffled. The scouts must be currently making their way around the Shetlands as part of their Scotland tour. Shame they didnt take Adams up there with them....and leave him.
    JOKE.

Sparks stated Promotion is the only option this season. Its not happening in January, so now is the time to back up his plan with some players in this window. Why is that not happening? I tell you why....RUPP.

    ALL OUT!

We have royally mucked up the window. We had a very good chance of still making something of this season but I fear now the negativity will reach boiling point. If we don’t win tomorrow then the majority will turn. The squad needed shaking up. Adams had the chance after his first 6 months here to address the holes in the team. He hasn’t done it. He’s had two windows now and I’m far from impressed.

We’d have been 3 points behind Swindon had we won on Tuesday! With 57 to play for!!! 3-4 quality signings and we’d have had more than a fighting chance. Either Adams thinks the team is good enough or we are absolutely skint.

That's life under Rupp, didn't expect anything else :joy:

I remember when Rupp turned down WAGMI and fans said that they hope it spurs him to invest some money into this window...

Well he hasn't so do those fans plan on making their displeasure known or repeat the cycle again next season?

TBF Sparks has said his mandate was to make the club sustainable. If you want extra money putting in, then that lies with Rupp. That's not a decision Sparks can make.

    From the BBC:

!Neil Lennon is interested in the vacant managerial position at Sunderland.

The former Celtic boss would not be daunted by the challenge or indeed the pressure of working at the Stadium of Light.

Lennon is an admirer of the club and has a history of working at a big club with big expectations!

Come on over Neil. I think we're what you are looking for.

Well that will take a big hit should we not at least challenge and achieve a play off spot. There will be fewer fans next season and on the back of it less sponsorship. So if the priority is being sustainable the player budget will need to be reduced further without a Rupp subsidy.

    I agree of course it’s Rupp but Sparks should not be saying things like this, only at start of December 2021 if he knew we have no budget;

It is not the rebuild that was required last season with six out and nine in.

“We have some deficiencies and they will need to be addressed.”

Adams has become increasingly public in his criticism of a team whose last win was on October 23. Next month’s transfer window cannot come soon enough for him – and the board have made it clear that he will be well backed.

Sparks added: “The club is in the best position it’s been in financially for almost five years and that is allowing us to work in the window.

Our Wembley this year is very much Wembley itself at the very least.

“It was similar last season and people who have worked here before deserve a lot of credit in helping us get to this point.

“With all due respect, we didn’t disappoint last January when we needed to act.

“You recruit for different things but there are players here now who were signed in that window – Charles Vernam, our captain and our leading goal scorer.

“It’s how you want to perceive a situation. My mindset is on how we are going to achieve our goals and I don’t see any boundaries.

“The supporters may feel down and disappointed but you’re never going to get that from me.

“It’s my responsibility to push us back from the ropes.

“We are nowhere near the canvas, like last season, and are well and truly in the fight with plenty of rounds to go.”

Let's be clear, we didn't scount the striker. He only became available because Smith went to Salford!!

Ok, fair enough we moved quickly but he was never ever ever a target for us, we just happened to get in quick and sign him.

Didn't they also say that there's "money to spend" in January? I didn't know that meant loan players wages. More fool me.
