If the question asked was “Is there a payment made to Stefan Rupp?” then the denial Ryan gave is correct. If someone asked if there were any payments to companies owned by Stefan they might have got a different answer.

IIRC at the forum Ryan denied any payments had been made to Stefan, a £200k bridging loan was made to the club in June 2020 and repaid in July 2020 from McBurnie money. So payments have been made.

Dennis or Sparks are mistaken. They can't both be right.

I think it's reasonable for Rupp to get an approx. return of 5% on his investment. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

However, either Sparks doesn't know this is happening or Dennis is mistaken.

 

The answer is a new owner who installs an experienced executive team who build a new culture within the club.

I don’t think it needs millions spending, the budget is there, but it needs a better way of spending it and whatever is rotten needs to be fixed. But the budget won’t be there next season and the season after if it’s as miserable as it is now.

The other answer is carry on as we are. Pissing about in mid table league two with dwindling crowds watching dreadful football before the inevitable slide in to the NL.

 

I think you may be correct with your assumption with regards Adams comments we all know many of our recent signing were supposedly brought to Valley Parade on very good salaries, hence his "what has happened in the past comment", Adams has been quoted that he prefers short 12 month contracts and hearing his reason I agree, you are open to losing players if other clubs offer longer deals ETC but they know from the start they have to knuckle down and do the business from the off.

There’s a reason Forest Green hired who they did, not because of his track record but because a culture was built from the owner down over a number of years. An owner probably not as rich as ours I might add…

 

3.5k a week? Who is it that has alleged that? I've heard 3k banded about a lot but never 3.5k so I'd be interested to hear where that's come from.
