I think Harrogate would probably had over half their ground, but the old bill will be the ones calling the shots, hence why the game is at 1pm rather than 3pm.

They don't want us from Bradford rocking up and knocking over tea and cakes in Betty's before scrapping with the Harrogate Ultra after an afternoon on the pimms.

 

Out of interest how many fellow Bantams have managed to secure tickets in the home end

Table booked at the empress which is the away pub aswell , 5 min walk down wetherby Road for the match.

I've heard Oldham had a load of fans in the home end.

Expect to see a few leeds fans there seen as its the International break.

 

A load of Leeds turned up for their home match against FC United a few years ago, and both sets were kicking lumps out of each other in the stand as the match was being played. Loads of arrests and a dozen or so Leeds were jailed for several years each.

If any City are in the home end and make your selves known you'd probably better be prepared for a scrap.

A considerable number of banned Leeds fans also follow Harrogate, presumably to get their football fix.

 

I've been hundreds of times snd never seen anything remotely close to trouble.
Up 2 their promotion there was no segregation and I've always gone in city colours and never had anything said , I'm freinds with most of the fans that have attended games over the last few seasons.

I was at the game you're talking about and your exaggerating it greatly, some leeds and man utd fans arranged to meet up there was a few scuffles which was dealt with swiftly by the police.


I've been invited to come to valley parade with the town fans on their coach (which I declined) and will be having a beer with them before and after both games

 

Being friends with Harrogate supporters and wearing a City shirt for Harrogate vs Bridlington etc is an entirely different scenario to a ‘risk game’ which is where you’ll find the perpetrators (in this case Leeds fans when HTFC played FCUM) and there’s a likely chance Leeds’ risk element could turn up for this one with Leeds not playing. You’re alright though if you’re friends with all the locals, it’s the City fans who may find themselves amongst a nutty Leeds mob if they venture into the home end that need to have their wits about them.

I agree it looks like leeds fans will probably turn up, I know a few harrogate based Leeds fans who have already got tickets, uts all- about looking after yourself and not been an arse and you'll remain safe.

Just like every game you attend .

I'll be in the envirovent stand with 5 other City fans and about 10 town fans , should be a decent day out as long as we win.

Christ you'd think it was Legia Warsaw playing Poznan the way it's being described. It's Harrogate Town FFS with possibly a few Leeds fans there v the bantams family. It's not Odsal 86.

Got mine on 19th Jan, I have a buying history (once this season) and received a link saying I could purchase earlier than the general release.

General advice, get there at least 20 mins before kick off if you want to see it. They do not cope well with big crowds at the turnstiles.

 

Hooligans don’t target ‘shirters’ or ‘scarfers’ or in other words those who wear club merchandise. They seek bother with like minded people. So you could turn up with your city jacket along with a full kit, socks and shin pads and you’d likely have nobody lay a finger on you.

Anyway, im not looking for a debate on an embarrassing subject that I find cringeworthy anyway, I am simply letting people know of possible risks should they venture into the home end.

Especially if, as you’ve even admitted, Leeds fans are in attendance, as we all know what they’re like.

Just bear in mind not everyone in the home end has the luxury of being a familiar face friendly with the locals.

We don't have the full emvirovent stand 2/3 of it is used for home fans , the same as when Oldham came and they sold their allocation too
