Match Thread Rochdale (a) - tickets and match thread

There was no shape or direction from the manager in the entire game. We get out passed by teams every week and the players look like they have no idea what the manager is trying to achieve. This is as bad as anything Bowyer served up and only a sending off last week saved us from yet another depressing defeat.
This lot have no chance of achieving anything as it currently stands. Another end of season clear out and another waste of a season.

The comments of Morais are virtually the same as Jones made at the Carlisle game.

Not grabbing game by scruff of neck.
Failing to build off the massive support you get.
Disjointed structure.
Players not knowing their roles.

Why is the co-commentator seeing it so clearly game after game and yet nothing changes.

 

Everyone from fans to radio summarisers knew the formation wasn't working, players playing out of position, however, he who is never wrong or at fault cannot see it, mind boggling.

Why on earth for example did he drop Vernam and play Daly out of position there?

Two proper sides giving their all, none of that pansy through-ball creative mindset crap, hoof it and get your bloody head on it! Men bled on the pitch like warriors today. Clearly one of those days where the opponent rode their luck all game, but I think the division has run out of its luck against us - and we will punish them. Angol should be back and healthy come Tuesday and we can resume our playoff push

Once the lad Newby came on he run the show for Rochdale delighted they didn't start with him, I said after Tranmere I'd finished with away games this season but Rochdale being just down the road I thought Id give it another go, why do we bother.
I'll try my luck for a ticket for the Harrogate game and if I get a ticket you can have it @Loyalbantam .

Watt was poor again but we have absolutely no one who can put a foot on the ball and pass forward. Cooke was anonymous, Gilliead just chases shadows, Sutton hasn’t had a decent game this year, Angol was ineffective, giving numerous free kicks away before his injury. Songo’O is a calamity who dives into tackles and has no composure whatsoever. Threlkeld, deary me he’s poor.

You build a side around a strong spine, we don’t have one. We need a keeper, centre half, dominant midfielder and striker. It’s no wonder we can’t dominate sides and turn these draws into wins.

When we decide to pass the ball through Cooke in midfield we look a far better team. sadly this started in minute 85.
