Paul Warne confirmed in today's Yorkshire Post they are not interested in him, they already have four strikers.

Can't see Rotherham letting Ladapo leave especially on loan to Bradford City after Paul Warnes comment recently.

good question. Just checked his twitter feed (stalking) and he was training with Cardiff at the start of the year. Very skillful player. He also looked a bit chunky so be interesting to see what state he is in

Warne did suggest a lot of clubs were looking, but we seem to be most strongly linked.

I'd be very impressed if we completed this signing.

Sorry not heard that, clearly not sufficient if he plumped for Rotherham who then pull out. Seems like his agent, rightly, is playing the look for a club dance?

Warne says a lot of clubs are looking at him.

It will be a lottery, but hopefully we've bought our ticket.

Why not Daly with Watt or Songo, Angol on the left, Walker in the middle and Shergar on the right. Or adapt to 4-1-4-1.

You definitely are a bit old fashioned in that sense.

Look at Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City. All have flying fullbacks that in many respects are their main attacking outlets.

Full backs are massively important in the modern game and whilst I get that in L2 it can be a bit safety first and percentages a full back that can go both ways offers you such a great additional option when attacking.

Another strange myth you've seemingly adopted Trev.

He put in one cross at Port Vale from the right (with his left foot) that we scored from and all of a sudden he's Trent Alexander Arnold.

He's barely played and when he has, he's hardly put in any other deliveries all season so this "can put in a good cross" is just made up nonsense at present.

I'm filling it in the "Hornby has better distribution" bin.

When you enjoy 60-70 % possession on average across a season, attacking full backs are just another way to augment your attack - and extremely successfully, too.

I believe our possession across the season will be around 45 %.

Until we increase that massively, attacking full backs are a bit gung ho for my liking.

Nothing to do with old fashioned or modern, IMO.

Also file under "Rarely plays so Trevor thinks he's ace".

All these strange assessments just boil down to a lack of data. If you haven't had time to reveal major weaknesses, you mustn't have any!

The fact remains that when picked has not let himself or the team down and that is all he can do as a player, Managers have favourites and players have to live with that.
