The old training ground debate right up there with the mystical new stadium debate, never happening we may as well discuss Narnia or some other make believe land it’s a waste of typing. They could probably be better can’t say I know what other lower league clubs have, but I’m sure they could be a lot worse the only players and managers that have criticised them seem to be ones that failed here.

In an ideal world the council, Bradford uni, Bulls and ourselves would come together as a joint venture that benefits all parties and local communities and build state of the art facilities for all to use. But it’s far too much vision and investment risk for all 4 parties so it’s pie in the sky.

It is, I could be wrong but I believe the pitches around the back and under the railway bridge have been added quite recently at the start of Phil Parkinson's time.

During Matthew Elliott's time at the Bulls they trained at Rawdon Meadows as well as Odsal Stadium, during the time the Bulls were winning everything in sight ;).

Let's take one thing at a time, step by step.
Are the training facilities good enough for an automatic promotion team in league 2?
    Almost certainly are.
We shall come back to the question of training facilities when we are in league 1.

They were good enough to get us into the PL and that was when they were no where near as good or extensive as today.

Probably wouldn't have got tge sports England grant to build it if a professional club intended to use it

Back in the day the BCAFC training facility at Apperley Bridge used to be the Sports Ground for my dad's works, International Harvesters, spent many happy hours at works sports day and family days there. Including watching the only game of Lacrosse that I've ever seen played. That was back in the 60's.
