    Ollie Banks is a player I rate very highly at this level. Seemed to hit form around the same time as another Ollie, Ollie Palmer, but he's in League One now.

    They are playing high stakes poker but are making sure they have a hand that gives them a chance of winning. MacAnthony needs the council on board as its clear the stadium won't get built otherwise but equally the council need to work with Peterborough as a new stadium of that size is an asset to the City.

    I don’t think it will happen in all honesty . We went over to Pboro just before Xmas…..Jeeze it’s going down hill. Lots of empty or decrepit shops, the once fantastic open air market is half boarded up. Before Brexit and the pandemic it was thriving. ( It was a high employment area for Europeans) A Friday afternoon before Xmas and you would expect it to be bustling…it was deserted . Shame really ..it used to be great.

    Agard got released and then signed for Donny. Massive opportunity missed for Sparks/Rupp to say we've bid an undisclosed fee, for a proven striker a league above us.

    And then say it's because we're too far away from the players home that he didn't sign.

    Liverpool won't get lucky fleecing Barcelona again. Liverpools method works on getting rid of players before the point of diminishing returns. And with their front line all at the age of 30 stage there comes a point where they can't make a return, I bet if someone came in with a bid for Salah the owners would bite their hands off. Same reason Spurs have lost a fortune on Kane becuase they got greedy. That one year of keeping him will probably cost them 30 to 40 million.

    Rochdale fans seem to think it's them lot he's turned down this week. They also believe he was a £41K release clause.

    Reckon he'll leave this window, bound to be more than 2 clubs wanting a forward on form.

    I wonder why Rochdale didn't offer £250k. Surely they'd have got their man. Why only offer £41k ? Just goes to show that have a little patience and the true picture will be revealed, rather than bash the club at the first opportunity.
