    You sign players like that, some will and some won’t work out. Peterborough seem to find some gems so I don’t see why City can’t, just have to be brave and stick with the plan if the first couple don’t work out as well as you hoped.

    We're not exactly blessed with tons of attacking midfield options.

    Seems like a reasonable signing to me, and I'm pleased we're making one so soon.

    Let's hope Luton let him play more than one game here!!

    Outside of that worrisome and weird insta-recall from Nathan Jones, this looks like a reasonable loan gamble in a position we needed reinforcements.

    Can't see any problem with this, it may turn out a complete flop or he may be one of the pieces of the jigsaw Adams is looking for. Lack of game time doesn't concern me, I'll wait and see what he offers before condemning the lad.

    I like the fact he's had a bit of football in the US, I like the fact that when he was released by a Premiership side he ended up at a Championship side, I'm not expecting him to totally transform our fortunes, but if he can add something to our attacks I'm all for it.

    Total guess is that he'll be on the bench at Carlisle, but I'm more than happy to wait and see.

    We badly lack pace with Vernam or Sutton on the pitch so I'd expect Pereira to be on the bench and one of Vernam or Sutton to start. Let's face it we were crap on Saturday so I'd expect to see all three get some game time against Carlisle.

    Weird reading Jones' comments after the recall, saying he picked up a slight injury and was "massively fatigued" after one game and wouldn't be going back there. It's not like anyone in that 3 behind the striker has a nailed on starting spot, good for competition, just hope he stays fit unlike the rest.

    I'm assuming the 'you cant play for 3 clubs in a season' rule doesn't including cup competitions or none league? As it looks like he also played in the cup for Luton in August against Stevenage to go with his 90 minutes for Yeovil.

    Correct, Yeovil are not an EFL side, so they don't count to the 'two clubs' rule.

    Reading his comments about being able to play 10 or out wide and how his game is about assists and running at people I wonder if someone might be on their way out? Adams has already told him what his role in the team will be, I wonder if he's looking for him to play the role that Mendes Gomez played for him at Morecambe?

    If I were you I'd judge for yourself. Imagine coming on here to gauge how good a potential signing would be from us? Fordy would say he was shit, Park would be waxing lyrical about him being the next Messi etc.
