    When we moved into our current house, we fell out with the vendors in the process. When the survey came back, we reduced our offer by a few grand to cover a couple of things. They weren't happy...

    They left the house in an absolute mess, but also decided to remove the mortice lock from the front door, creating a hole in the front door and also quite a bit of damage to the door frame. As the mortice lock was considered part of the house we had bought, they had to pay us £600 for the repairs.

    Mine was not too bad, they left some stuff they clearly couldn't be arsed to finishing throwing in the bin and the two massive wardrobes were an annoyance. One I managed to dismantle and sell for £50 the other my daughter is going to use IF I paint it.... : unamused: (it is a horrid brown colour tbf)

    Btw I bottled giving Mrs bbb the potentially worthless Amazon voucher for her birthday yesterday.

    I like all my bits where nature intended.

    You never know.She might have laughed.But she has laughed twice already this month and I don’t want her using up her entire monthly quota before Christmas Day.
