    Where did I say that. I stated a fact that we have spent most of our history in lower league football. Don’t you think people throughout that time also wanted better. The fact is we were poor then and we are poor now and it’s Sutton and Harrogate who have risen deservedly up the league and we have stayed put

    If he isn’t prepared to invest any money of his own then fair enough, but sell up. Those beneath him need to convince him of the investment required to move this club forward and stop stagnating. I know you need a buyer to sell, but it sounds like he’s not even considering selling up at the moment.

    Rupp has given us an interest free loan unlike one of our previous owners who charged 9% annual interest. I’d rather stick with who we’ve got.

    You would rather stick with an owner who has no interest in us or football in general, and has managed to steer us from the cusp of the Championship to the lower half of the worst league 2 for perhaps generations. Very strange

    Unfortunately this is correct, I know for a fact that Rupp had an offer last year to buy the club but turned it down flat as he was at that point only prepared to talk to someone with a ridiculous valuation for a league 2 club with no assets!!! Maybe his opinion has changed but this was the case.
