if they told both clubs they could use six subs, why was our sixth man not allowed on? If he had then we wouldnt have a case to argue. But they refused it. You had fresher legs.

Sorry to tell you this but you're wrong although, judging by some of your 'contributions' I doubt you'll accept that. Been supporting Cambridge Utd since 1973. First got onto this forum last season when Cambridge and Bradford were in the same division. Not my normal thing to do but with last season's weird crowd-less atmosphere I enjoyed the chat, and yes I like the craic on this forum in particular. But I'm always respectful because I love the football chat and appreciate other clubs' fans. (note the correct use of the apostrophe there). Oh and the last time I was called 'ridiculous' I think I was at primary school.

If he’d have bothered to google “fa cup rules” clicked on the top link and scrolled to section 15 you wouldn't be in this mess.

if i was in your shoes I’d be trying to get in touch with the club to see how inept a professional club can be for not even wanting to know the rules of the game.

the FA have pissed me off too, what they have done is accepted responsibility when they were in no position to do so. Its up to the clubs to remind themselves of the rules of the game. Teams certainly act like they do know the rules when they bleat on at the ref for any and every decision correct or otherwise. But then its beggars belief when it could be the clubs fault. I just find it infuriating when the shoe is on the other foot they STILL blame the officials. Really FA could have made everyone pay attention but they bowed down and now clubs can do what they want. New laws and rules come out? Doesnt matter now the onus is on the officials to be always correct and now can carry on being lambasted whenever they make a mistake.

We probably get as many fans that pay on the day as you get in total. If your season tickets were £200 you still wouldn't get anywhere near 15000-16000 :fans every week
