Bloody hell I better rest for 5 mins. Can’t believe what I am reading.

We need to kick on. Yes, it was a decent point today but we need to start winning and putting runs together or this season will be over soon for us.

I agree that late save from Gilliead saved Port Vales day.

I actually thought they were OK. Vale's midfield is easily the best in this division and whilst they dominated at time, we didn't get swamped.

I agree that they often make wrong decisions, but their energy at the end meant we were dominating that area more than them.

And if we consider, what Vale have done to other teams - that ain't too bad.

Pretty crap overall from the Vale, the occasion clearly got to us. Adams had set up perfectly to stop us playing, little time and space for our central three to find the space they need, but on top of that excellent tactical set up we were uncharacteristically shit really. Almost played you in a few times! Nervy, timid, resorting to hoof ball, passing all over the place, including straight to you for the equaliser. Not what we've been used to seeing, really uncharacteristic, really frustrating.

Clarke made a slight shape change after about 30 minutes and it opened up a bit more, Worrall came into the game and we actually played looking for passes instead of just booting it up, we got back into the game and managed to force a few overloads on the flanks. Good saves from Gibbons and Conlon, two great strikes in the first half.

Don't think there's much argument against the call for Threkeld to have been sent off. So much for hoping no one notices the referee, ffs.

I think both sides will be frustrated by that, both could actually have stolen it at the end, Lloyd really should have with that injury time cross flashed across the six yard box.

Fordy is an interesting 'character' isn't he?

I see what you Bradford fans mean by your inability to finish this season. Given how cack Vale were for much of the game tactical match ups aside and at times couldn't have done more to try and create your opportunities for you, that should be a bit concerning.

We're not higher because of dropped points at home. I don't think its anything to do with pressure. Weve had rotten luck with injuries and we lack a touch more quality in either box. We're really not far away fordy. A quality centre back makes a difference. As does a quality striker.

No f*****g about, spend the money, get the quality in.

To say with our last three league games we have played three teams in the autos to take a win and two draws is really good going

Only criticism I have of Adams is, apart from two three matches, we've not seen our best midfielder, Songo'o, in his best position.

I'd be playing him, Sutton and Cooke

I thought Conlon in particular showed some genuine class at times. And Lloyd was a real handful with his pace when he came on.

I think you're being a little unfair with your comment with regards City fans, we've had FGR, Swindon Town, Exeter and Port vale at their place and come through undefeated, players coming back could see that run materialise, I'm sure that what you and every other Bradford City fan really wants ?.

I actually don't think the back line is a problem. Who's demonstrably better than our pairing? I can't think of anyone, without spending decent money. Threlkeld's a weak link, admittedly.

No. Our problem is incompetence in front of goal - meaning we let teams off the hook and inevitably they then get more confidence = more chances = more mistakes at the back.

Even Man City and Liverpool concede chances and often make errors. Usually though, they've taken 3 of their 5 chances!!

Thought we were poor until the subs. Angol's all round game is far superior to Robinson's and gave us a focal point when he came on which made a world of difference.

That said, we still created enough chances to win the game. Vale were very average and only created one real chance apart from the goal. But every team is pretty average in this division, nobody stands out.

Their goal summed up our season. Miss a fantastic chance at one end and then seconds later Songo'o has a fresh air shot in our own box and we're one down. We're not clinical in either box and January must address that.

Also, I hope that's the end of the back 5. Don't think we have the fullbacks required to make it work which ends up making us sit too deep. And now we have Eisa and Angol back and available we need to be more ballsy in our selection, especially at home.

Paudie isn't strong, Songo is better but still liable to soft mistakes in the box. Threlkeld - if we're going to stick with 3 at the back, we need a proper right wing back.

A word for Foulds though - he's been spot on.

I'd give it up Dave. It's as though to some of our fickle fans, unless a new manager hasn't won at least half of their first 15 matches then it's all rubbish.

Such views are laughably myopic. We only have to see how long it took Parky to get the team he wanted.

Then if you go look at the managerial careers of those punching above their weight, i.e, Ainsworth at Wycombe, Warne at Rotherham or Lowe at Plymouth - if the critics on here were in charge of their clubs, they'd all have been sacked due to their moderate starts.

You've soon sussed out our Fordy!.

Decent game, a draw a fair result. With some good business in the January window, both teams have a decent chance of promotion. Auto's for you, playoffs for us?

It all comes down to that old chestnut that the best form of defence is attack. If we could put away a handful of the chances we create, the odd one or two going in at the other end isn't a problem.

But Songo'o isn't centre half. For me it works great for 88 minutes - but then there's two where him not been a natural CB has an impact. I think Paudie and Canavan are as good as anyone in this league.

I can see him abandoning three at the back.

Foulds has done pretty well since he's come in and that was a cracking cross.

Be nice to see him and Foulds being the full backs for a few matches.

Give Watt a break. He's not impacting games and his first touch was poor today, even his passing really. Get Songo'o in there.

Have to disagree Bronco, we’re so used to mediocrity and that performance today was poor for the majority against teams who we have no idea where they will finish, a moment of brilliance gets us a point it doesn’t paper over what was a disjointed poor performance, that for me gives no confidence this team can kick on.

Regardless of what we want, we’ve wanted it for a while and it hasn’t happened, we’re currently around mid table.
