Again you have misquoted me by replacing a comma with a full stop and omitting the remainder of my sentence. In doing so, you've changed the fundamantals of what I posted. When quoting others, have the courtesy to quote posts in full and not curtail them to suit some other argument.

I suggest you read what I posted exactly without any of your omissions or changes to the grammar and punctuation to better understand what I posted.

ps I've now edited your earlier post where you chose to quote me incorrectly to reflect what I really posted.

I deliberately stopped there because nether your nor my response alluded to yesterday’s signing of Robinson and the pre start of league games for the signing of Lavery . They were irrelevant to your point and my only response related to your mention of Angol and Eisa. I made that clear from the outset, to yourself and the other one.
Happy to add clarification as always, but my point still stands that Angol and Eisa were medically and physically fit and had played in several games each, prior to their injuries, same as Sooty and same as Thelkeld. Absolutely that cannot be said of Robinson and Lavery. Hence I didn’t mention them
No more to add , but Tnx for the explanation.

I believe he did in the early days Dave, but eventually stopped doing it when the squad had to rely on last minute loans to finally assemble a squad the week before season kick off. Under Parky perhaps?

If it's OK with you, I'll decide what points are relevant to my posts and the case I am making. I don't need you to make that decision for me and thus misquote what I actually posted.

Maybe the players we originally identified were unable to leave their clubs because they couldn't bring in players to cover, so Adams knowing we potentially had two long term injuries brought Lavery & Robinson in to boost squad numbers, unfortunately they are not match fit, I'd think both would be somewhere near for the Salford game.

It seems like “ numbers “ are a concern to you , but seeing as you claim to know I am a prolific poster let’s lay some data on the table. I’d be happy to call you by your name but hey ….

If you care to look in the number of messages posted on the forum, I am not even in the top 20 posters.. . The leading contributor has circa 40,000. I have circa 6,000 .

Look the numbers up for yourself, it took me 20 seconds to find the data.

Apparently we played well in the main against Lincoln so I’m hoping we get a Stevenage type performance and result. City fans are so on edge and fearful that results will fall away, that there’s a real possibility of transferring that nervousness to the players through the atmosphere at the game. We have to remember that performances have been good and we won’t come up against a side as accomplished as Lincoln in league two.

Interestingly the club showed the highlights of when we beat Walsall 4-0 and got to the playoffs in 15-16, some may say it was just Parkys style but the quality of football from both sides was appalling the goals were dreadful. I mention it because how slick Lincoln looked, I know they got to the playoffs last season as well although have started poorly this season. I wonder if it’s a sign that league 1 is improving in quality? If so we don’t want to get left behind, hopefully back on track with a win tomorrow.

You could be right about Lavery Dave, not sure about Robinson though? It all depends how he’s treat the “ training with the under19’s”. Certainly don’t think he will have played much pre season?

I like the fact he brought his family with him Tuesday night and he is prepared to relocate up here even on a short term contract, all down to him now.

Walsall’s form seems a little bit wobbly and I think we’ll win this. Let’s go with 3-1.

I have no confidence in Threlkeld or O’Donnell to help us keep a CS but I think the players will respond for Adams, just as they did after the Forest defeat.

I get the negativity and it does feel like we’ve been here before, but this time we have Adams in the dugout and he won’t stand for dross.

I don’t think there is a need to tinker much. Vernam continues in place of Angol and Eisa was benched anyway before getting injured. Robbo and Lavs were short of fitness anyway so no decision needed as to whether they should start.

Levi Sutton impressed off the bench and looked up for it midweek, but expecting Watt to keep his place alongside Songoo.

FCD could come back in at RB after Threlkeld’s poor game on Tuesday.

So: O’Donnell, Ridehalgh, Canavan, Paudie, FCD/Threlkeld, Watt, Songoo, Vernam, Cooke, Gillead, Cook

We look very dangerous on the break. Crankshaw will be waiting in the wings if Vernam has one of his off days.

looking forward to it - into em lads!
