I wonder if he is bringing his assistant John McMahon with him. McMahon looks a tough cookie when you see him bawling on the touchline. I assume he worked well with Adams given their success this season

Basically, he's attritional - as we all saw when he brought his Plymouth teams to VP.

However, that is what is needed both to go up and stay up. The next phase, of we are lucky enough - might beyond him, but as fans we need to realise we're in L2 and we need to get out.

Top of the range finesse tools are no good if you're in the bottom of a pit and are trying to get out. You need something crude to make the necessary footholes to climb up and then you can use the good tools to manufacture something better

And for your putting our club down, Adams joins us after all, who'd have thought it, from a league one club.
It's a good job Spark's vision and optimism was a darn site better than your myopic and negative outlook on us.

We're a languishing League 2 club, regressing season after season and with an apparent lack of financial muscle to steam roller our way out of this league. We don't really have the luxury or right to demand 'good football'. If we have to shit house our way out of this league, so be it. And for all the success that Parkinson brought over a 3 year period, lets not pretend it was based on an ethos of 'good football', because it wasn't. Lets just go with what works and then re-assess once we've gone up to and consolidated in League 1. Horses for courses.
