Just watched the video on my lunch break. Come on @Fordy117@Fordy117 that was a bit special. Loved it. Kudos to all who made it happen. Very emotional. As someone said the music is good too.

love the idea and I think that’s how most will feel come august again. Desperate to get back and be in a ground again. This last year has been bland and disconnected but going to games is what it’s all about. As others say @Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart with your family etc.

Just how much was the original 25 year package? Seem to think it was over £2000.

Not had an ST for 3 years now ... mainly because my kids didn't want to go any more. I may get a couple of ST this year but I want to see progress first ... who is the new manager, what is the aim for the season, a couple of signings maybe. Otherwise I'll stay on the sidelines as I have done recently.

    Two things...

    1. What does the season ticket price go up to after July 6th? No mention, unless I'm going daft of a price increase thereafter. Or is there a potential increase from July 10th based on...

    Q. How long have I got to purchase my ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season ticket?

    A. Supporters have an exclusive window to renew their ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season ticket - with the seats they occupied during the 2019/20 season reserved - until Tuesday July 6. These seats will then be released on general sale on Tuesday July 6, until Saturday July 10. During this window, supporters will also be able to swap their seat to one which is not at that time reserved, though from Tuesday July 6, all seats which have not yet been reserved will be released on general sale. Non season-ticket holders will be able to purchase a ‘Take Me Home’ season ticket during this window, though will only be able to choose a seat which has not been reserved by a current season-ticket holder at their time of purchase. ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season tickets will then go OFF SALE on Saturday July 10.

If that's the case, the only benefit to purchasing early is to 'reserve' your seat from19/20 season .
If I'm reading correctly, which I may not be, you might as well wait till after July 6th to purchase (from a financial point of view), especially with Covid uncertainty , unless your seat is a priority for you.

    2. Why can you purchase your season ticket at Valley Parade but not pick it up?

    Q. How can I secure my ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season ticket?

    A. By visiting our official ticketing website, calling 01274 770012 or - as an alternative option - visiting the ticket office at the Utilita Energy Stadium. Where possible, supporters are urged to purchase ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season tickets online or by phoning the ticket office, due to COVID-19 social-distancing restrictions limiting the efficiency purchasing your season ticket in person, at the ticket office.

    Q. When it is ready, can I pick my ‘Take Me Home’ season ticket up from the Utilita Energy Stadium’s ticket office?

    A. No. All ‘Take Me Home’ season tickets will be posted out to supporters and will not be available for collection. Postage and delivery of season-ticket cards will incur a mandatory, flat £4.50 fee per transaction, meaning supporters must ensure their contact details are up to date on their official ticketing account. This can be done by CLICKING HERE.

I know it's only £4.50 but it irks me. So in reality the season ticket is £202.50 for adults

Presumably on the monthly direct debit tickets will be posted out for each game or monthly batches. Who will pay the postage for that

Yeah that jumped out at me - they can't catch us out! Maybe the guy's a train anorak, and got on the Leeds train at Saltaire to then get one from Leeds to the Interchange.

Regardless, it got me welling up a bit too.

It hasn't been mentioned yet, checked on the club's website and Flexcard has been stopped.
I know the numbers sold was not high but i used to get one for family/friends(you ARE coming with me today!) as well as the season ticket.

The price increase still doesn't get City up to approx £2.3 million for the playing budget if they can manage 10,000 fans to watch the worse football city in the league.
re-@bantamdave41's point- should the handling fee of £4.50 profits go towards the budget?

The only strange thing I can see is the age for Senior’s at 65 and over, when the state pension age is now 66! Why not link it to the rounded state pension age? That will increase to 67 by 2028, which would have been the logical time for City to alter it again.

I think 65 is fair enough I know the state pension age keeps rising but as time goes on more and more people will retire before they reach that age.
I do see people’s point however that say many pensioners are better off than their working equivalent but that’s a different argument

Bradford City is just a mediocre league 2 club run by baffoons, such a shame Edin destroyed all the progress made since 2012 because he knew football and the current chairman Stefan Rupp just watched and let it happen.. we’ve been put back at least 30 years.

I will be very surprised if we sell over 6000 season tickets, maybe if we appoint Zidane we might get a few more through the door but the way the club is run and the quality of the football its just not worth the cost of a season ticket.

    1) No increase at July 6th but who knows after 10th July. Maybe they just a line drawn in the sand as a well warned cut off and they will make a decision later about putting them back on sale.

    2) I'm guessing the reason is some people will insist they do not rust computers or phones when paying by card and/or they want to pay cash and only cash so the option has to be there to buy in person whereas for delivery the club are taking responsibility for the delivery and any loss so people have no reason, except cost, to have to go to VP with the increased risk therefore from Covid. As for the total cost of an adult ticket of £202.50 that would be correct if you are buying a single ticket, obviously if you are buying two it would be less.

Very sound marketing strategy, well done Sparks and the team. Very good price compared with other league clubs and flexible ways to pay for those who can’t pay it in one go. Nothing to complain about.

The video made me want to go to a game more than any of the football witnessed in the last few years.

    Well done all.

I doubt it mate. It's like when you buy a freezer from Currys on 12 months interest free. You get the freezer upfront. Same with this I believe. If anyone defaults (DD is rejected) then they'll null and void the ticket card.
