New Coach - Michael Collins

Edin learnt his lessons and now doing great job of pulling all the strands together and get us all working as one big team..............Not.

 

I couldn't give a stuff about style of play. If we're getting results, making memories progressing and the worst thing people can complain about is the style then I'm happy.

You're making out like any random young lad can magically become a coach. If he'd earned it and this was the plan then fine, we know that isn't the case though.

None of the infrastructure will matter if they mess it up on the field. Would any other league club have considered those three as a management team?

I'm actually disappointed in Greg for going along with this.

Thought I'd have a look how the under 18s did last season. Finished 10th out of 13 teams. Great coach that collins

 

Shocked, underwhelmed, surprised........and now excited. This is very different to the 'experienced' and tried and tested. Collins is young, vibrant and hopefully has some new ideas - most of all him and Abbott will buy into Edins strategy in the recruitment process. And at least we know the coaching team have been involved in the recruitment process!!!

F**k it, not what I wanted but recruitment looks fairly positive so far and we didn't get Darren Ferguson.

He's minted, even Simon Grayson only got an offer of a 2 year deal.
He gets a 3 year deal?
Payoff will be alot or we are stuck with the 3 muppets for some time yet, results be damned.

I don’t think he was even a full time coach as he played for Halifax last season!

 

The fact is nobody knows how good a coach is until they are given the chance. He has obviously got all the badges he will have played under a number of managers and learnt from them. Let’s just give him full support because the alternative is against what we all want

 

All those interviews and we end up with the Under 18s coach. Its as clear as day, no one interviewed wanted the job under the terms laid down in the interview. Seven weeks we’ve waited for this, they could have done it in a week, the chosens ones were already here.

 

You could say the same about anybody. It's blind positivity for the sake of it.

Nobody knows how good Fordy would be until he's given a chance. let's appoint him, be positive about it and give him our full support then eh?

Has Fordy had a long career as a player and got his badges. We could have picked an ex premiership player with no coaching experience at all and some people would have been cooing. I would have liked a more experienced coach but let’s see ho he does

 

If I was the new head coach you would say the same thing.

So Fordy whether you and I like it or not he is here. For once in your life judge after you see what happens

 

Edin has actually done a play on words hasnt he. He hasnt said no-one turned them down. He has said no-one was offered a contract !!

 

What's wrong with supporting the new head coach?

 

I'm just glad we have a club to support.

 

No big announcement, no media whoooo ha, big pics tv camera etc etc. Edin knows exactly how this will be viewed by the fans. You are having your way Edin, for the sake of this club you had better succeed with your vision. However, I will never ever forget how you have lied to the long serving fans of this club, even if you are successful which is a big if!
