Like him or not appointing Parky as manager would be a huge boost to season ticket sales,

 

Do you think so? Do we want the same again when he rides off into the sunset in a year or two, or wouldn’t you rather build something with a proven young manager who wants to build the club?

 

Parky stayed here years and built a good squad on a very limited money supply, The players he brought in and his loan players he could attract are now regulars in the championship, He was forced out of the club by Rahic,
When he came we were on the verge of relegation, When he left we were on the verge of promotion,

 

Sadly the more affluent areas of Bradford are too far from the motorway network, therefore we are back to the obvious location of Odsal.

 

Ha ha and you honestly believe that a successful young manager wouldn’t ride off into the sunset as soon as the big boys came calling?

 

Can’t dispute his record at all. Would he want to stick around and help build something long term, doubtful. We’d then end up rebuilding again. We need someone to buy into Sparks vision both on and off the pitch. We can’t have the manager going against the CEO or it’ll be doomed to failure as we well know.

Absolutely I would trust him look at the dross we have had since he left
Part of me wants him to return but logic says for his sake he should never come back

Credit to Parky he saw " the future" a long time before we did and remember Mr Rupp must have been part of the reason he left.
I would have him back in a breath to get us out of this league and consolidate in L1 but can he get us into the Championship, am not certain

The way the club has been run on and off the field in recent years I would bet conference is more likely than league one in the next five years.

I’m not sure he would come back as manager, would taint his amazing record he had here.
What about director of football? If he’d take it. Maybe Chuck in a clause where if he gets a managers job offer he can walk away for a small fee or free to dangle the carrot.
Get him to sort the behind the scenes and back room side of things out because we have never had it anywhere near as good since he left. He can pick a new manager and even have a hand in signing players with Turnbull. 2 year contract at first and drag this club back towards some sort of up to date.
It would cost money but I’d rather him be picking people than what we have currently.

 

Derek Adams linked with Northampton and Swindon possibly in for Steve Evans as manager. Other clubs in our league will not be messing around in an attempt to back out it seems

 

In the cold light of day, there are very few realistic choices. Same couple of names keep cropping up - and no guarantee they'd even be interested. I don't envy Sparks.

 

I've thought about this a lot over the last few days and yes I would welcome Parky and Steve Parkin back (along with Nick Allanmby the fitness guy) to replace Trueman and Sellers but only if they enquired after the jobs, I wouldn't go chasing them.

 

We can't keep looking in the "Former Employees" section of the filing cabinet, when searching for a new manager. It's a lazy way of operating.

Ryan is playing a dangerous game here. No signs of improvement on the pitch for weeks and he's about to ask fans to fork out for £250 season tickets. He was absolutely right to give Trueman and Sellers 18 month deals at the time as they had steadied the ship and got us moving up the table. But if he can't read the room now and demote them to the youth team or fire them then he is going to be in for a nasty surprise when he launches the ST sales.

Ryan has said in the past he wants to improve the analytics capabilities at the club. Well Ryan, google Experiemental 3-6-1 and look at how we fare on xG under these two.

We were rather lucky to win as many games as we did and our recent slump isn't a blip, its the norm based on the long term stats. We are miles away from being a promotion team so please take action before we ruin the ST campaign.

Adams has been mentioned but we should be going all out for Richie Wellens. Bring us that promotion in style.
