Mate, he's literally got Home Bargains' logo on his chest because he didn't cut the mustard at Charlton.

We get it, he has some talent, he's a League One player who Lee Bowyer thinks is a wimp and a tosser and couldn't get him away from the training ground fast enough, to the point that was prepared to pull a Bradford City and lend him to any rival and competitor in the same division - only he's wound up going a division lower to try to rebuild his confidence.

Who cares if he should have been sent off or not? It's not our problem - Marcus Maddison is not our problem, and he was offered to us.

I couldn't care less how Bolton are doing unless they're either playing us, or competing against us for a play off spot, and frankly, at this point, that kind of makes it a moot argument.

Why are you gracing Bantam Talk this evening to tell us all about Marcus friggin' Maddison?

    What’s your obsession with Fordy?

    Really strange.

This taking the knee should have ended weeks ago. It's pointless now, as an initial call of solidarity it was a good idea, but the longer it goes on the less it means. Is it any different to taking the knee before going into Morrisons to show solidarity there ? is football any more racist than Cricket ? Do they take the knee in cricket ?

It's been diluted to a pointless gesture, pretty much akin to holding a minutes silence every week for the same person.

Good wins for Southend & Stevenage, boy have we dodged a bullet with Hurst ! It's a bizarre league when you think that a win last night would have us 13th and only a point off the top half, yet a defeat on Saturday could see us back to 21st and only 5 off the relegation zone.

He's like one of those irritating ear worms that keeps you awake half the night.

One day last week my wife mentioned Greggs Cheese & Onion pasties. That made me think that the last time I went into a Greggs was 2018 when I walked Hadrian's wall, which had me thinking about Newcastle and led onto Jimmy Nail and the song "Big River", which then kept me awake until the wee small hours.

That, is the best way I can describe Fordy !!

Park. Specsavers are on the phone. Look again at that picture of them watering the pitch. The tree behind the stand is in full leaf.

My, you're one cantankerous individual. How you can get so worked up about an innocuous comment is beyond me.

Couldn't they have kicked off at 5.30 last night after looking at the forecast earlier in the day??

Recent talk of playoffs was bonkers in my opinion. We need to concentrate on pulling clear of the drop zone first.

The bottom 3 seem to be getting marooned now, but as you say, defeat against Salford, which is likely, could see us too close to the bottom 2 again.

Be just glad when this awful season is over and we have preserved our football league membership, and then we can plan for a promotion push next season hopefully.

Dont like the current situation with interim manager. We should either offer them the job permanently now, or be honest and say that we have someone lined up to be appointed in the summer and T&S will continue as interim managers until then. Too much uncertainty for my liking

Good to know, we need some new bedroom flooring, might give him a call, though I doubt my wife will "swoon" over him the way she did over Mark Bower when he valued our house !

If ever I'm feeling a bit down, I always manage to raise a smile thinking about Jonathon Woodgates Real Madrid debut. An own goal and a sending off. Followed by being crocked for months on end. Didn't work out well for him that move. I blame it on the hairband.

Tough to top Woodgate's achievement - hard to imagine already that he was linked to our managerial vacancy just weeks ago

It hasn't stopped racism and never will. Until we realise there are numerous people out there who cannot be educated then bending down on one knee will achieve absolutely nothing. Just like wearing a kick it out t shirt achieved nothing. Racism is far more complex than just saying 'please don't say this or that, we're wearng a t shirt so you have to take notice.' I guess by the laws of the social media woke mob my comments make me a racist. How will i sleep at night?

And yet he has rocked up at Bournemouth, 6th in the Championship. Not worthy of the post according to some. Yes his post is temporary but where have we seen that before?

Ah the grandeur of some Bradford fans

The opportune moment to stop the bended knee (and I never agreed with it in the first place) was at the end of last season. Now, they've made a rod for their own back. When and how can they ever stop it now? And the mass return of fans will test it too, because there are a wide range of opinions on the matter. I think it'll inflame the situation even more. Much of the well intended action to fight prejudice risks doing more harm than good.
