Tuesday doesn’t look good again though

 

This month is going to be the biggest test of T&S tenure. I'm reserving judgement until February is out.
This month will show if we've the credentials to make a bid for the playoffs.
That being said, I recall going to a Tuesday night home game against Wrexham at the start of March back in 1996. There was just 3,500 of us there. That night the club announced the building of the Midland Road stand. I thought that was madness. But a couple of months later we were taking 30,000 to Wembley. So never say never

I remember ... as I'm sure other old gits on here do too , freezing my arse off watching Workington Town at home on the Kop with 1000 or a bit more other idiots. Tempus Fugit and so do City. We're in a good place right now. Onwards up the league - hopefully with wins against those above us during the Feb fixtures.

 

The thing is though a month a go we were wondering where the next point was coming from and relegation was looking like a real possibility. So we shouldn’t be judging these two on a play off chase just on steady improvement ready for next season. Anything else is a bonus

I agree. I think we’ll have a better view of whether to confirm T&S permanently in 4-6 weeks time. And the beauty is, we’ve created ourselves the opportunity to take that time. If we were still in the mire, we wouldn’t be able to.

The pressure will start to ramp up now, lets see how they handle it.

I don’t think there’ll be that many changes. Vernam in for Clarke, that’ll be it.

 

You will be when we smash our way into the top three on the final day of the season.

 

The only change should be Vernham for Clarke who’s is injured

 

I'm going with 14 from 7 and a 15 game charge into the top three. I have it all planned out, top half by 1st March, top 10 by 1st April, top 3 by 1st May. The opposite of the current Covid Curve

 

I see no reason we shouldn’t be looking for 11 points from the next 4 games.

 

That's the difference now we don't have to tinker and the square peg in round hole syndrome should be a thing of the past now we have a stronger squad of players to choose from in each position.
Our bench tomorrow should finally reflect that.
