He's poor on the right side, good on the left. I don't know why he doesn't let Clarke take the ones from the right with his left foot.

 

We haven't really got going. Too many not on it tonight. Clarke, Cooke, Watt and Lowe not at the races really. We need someone up top.

 

No, the one guy asked "who is our goalscorer" but I took it to mean who is the person most likely to score from that set piece because he was left alone at the back post.

 

Anyone who thought this would be a walkover......

 

Slightly disappointing realisation that we're not suddenly good after all

 

Frustrating. We've had the better of it and any problems weve had have been our own doing. We've been in decent areas but the final pass or choice just isn't right. We really need some pace up there. I'd be tempted to get Stevens on for Clarke or Cooke. Probably Cooke. Shift Clarke Central - he's much more likely to create than Cooke. As a 10, Cooke doesn't offer enough going forward

 

Really poor half. Crying out for some pace and runners off Rowe because we're so slow going forwards.

 

Said this before after last match but can these two fix our attacking side of the game?
We are certainly tougher to beat but at what cost has that come?

Their goal wouldn't have come from Woods side of AOC hadn't bottled the first challenge

 

The pitch is not allowing us to play that quick interchange passing we have in the last few matches. Unfortunately we need to play a bit more direct . We have created chances though

 

Until we scored we were playing well after very poor

Need to avoid defeat here. As it stands, feel Southend more likely to score

 

They look dreadful defensively and their left centre back is on a booking. Get stevens on to run at him.

 

It hasn’t come at any cost. We were even worse going forward under McCall. I think we’re better going forward now. We’re getting more ‘nearly’ moments, but the final ball isn’t there and we lack pace. We won’t get any better going forward without more personnel changes.

Got to agree a tad lackluster all over the park.
The amount of headers won by Rowe flicking it on to no one.
Someone needs to get get closer to Rowe.

 

I think the system works. The problem is the players like @Faithful Bantam says.

We've looked very threatening at times but been sloppy giving them balls which have given them a chance to get forward quickly.

Think we'll win as we've looked most likely but we do need more threat from Clarke or Cooke or switch them.
