A decent cameo from Stevens although I think he might frustrate at times

 

Gonna take a lot longer with the premiership, under the thumb of Sky, they have invested so much in this much maligned campaign, didn't do their homework,,

 

The only bit I have to take exception with is the Watt and Hologhan fouls. Bar that, I thoroughly agree.

3 games recently against the 2 top scorers in the division and Mullins big chance today was about it in 270 minutes of football. That’s definitely solid.

Agree lets hope he makes better choices with his crossing, it's easy sat watching on the box but I though both crosses should have been cut back.

 

You have to give it to Mullins with his goals but he looks awkward and ungamely to me

 

That 3 is completely devoid of pace. We need pace out wide, hopefully Stevens can supply that on one side as the three you mention is unbalanced.

 

Not knocking the game or the performance put in by either team but the pitch was not the best.

I know someone like Keefly baulked at the idea that the goals we were scoring early on in the Trueman and Sellars era weren't replicable and unlikely to continue flying into every corner, but those of us who noted that have been proven correct. 1 goal in 3 games isn't ideal, but the fact we've conceded just ONE GOAL IN FIVE is phenomenal.

On the plus side, we lost our main striker today, and as a consequence Rowe was forced to play up front - where he did okay, not bad. But Rowe looks like he'll be a much bigger threat playing behind Novak, and if we can feed him he looks to have that 'shoot on sight' ability we have lacked since Deano.

Aside from that weird bit in the middle of the second half where there were 3 yellow cards in a minute but he let everything go and it ended up with a dropped ball and no cards!

 

thats fair enough but if we're gonna play with one up top whoever it is has to stay up there for me. i think its contributing a little bit to our lack of goals in the last couple of games now the worldies have dried up.
