    Firstly they are both regular League 1 players, Portsmouth are pushing for promotion, and although Sunderland are mid table, Wyke has a return of 7 goals in 16 appearances.
    So although it would also be nice to have McBurnie and Wells, that one isn’t going to happen either!
    Reality bites!
    Players who are functioning at a higher level than City are extremely unlikely to drop down to our level, where they will be on lower wages, and with a club which could still struggle to gain a respectable finish.

    Hiwulia is out of contract again at Portsmouth after only being on a short term deal I only mentioned him because I saw Swindon are interested who are struggling second bottom of division one

    I thought Hiwula had been dismissed in the Summer as unrealistic.

    I fully expect him to get a L1 club.

    I thought he was asking too much,if he is without a club who knows, I'd hope Lee has other players in mind, he'd certainly be an improvement on our present forwards.

    To be fair, Swindon couldn't afford Doyle, so if they can afford Hiwula we probably can - but I think money is an excuse. Think the lad wants to play L1 minimum, and can't blame him.

    Yes, I believe Stuart said he talked to him but didn't want to come. Of course, circumstances change but he may be more inclined to change his mind if we were higher in the table I would think.

    Yes, out of two, id take Bowen. I told you this a year ago that he was more talented than Lingard but you simply wouldnt have it. Evident in the PL this term and proven it.


    And if we get your wishes every last single player will be gone come end of January and we will need 20-25 new players. Ludicrous.
