Because you don't understand football enough Fordy and give credit where it is due. We worked harder 2nd half and still looked decent going forward. Although I will admit we let Nicky Law too much space when he came on.
Just saying he's sh**e, he's sh**e isn't very constructive and is often wrong.
Having said I will always agree with you that the club is lacking direction and forward planning and know that like me you are City through and through. After things have hopefully improved in the world of covid I will buy you a beer and chew the fat with you in person.

 

The only conclusion I can come to is he's Clayton's agent.

 

Agree Dennis. He's not going to be at the level of a 28-30 year old defender at 18. If he had a solid pro defender alongside him he'd learn a hell of a lot. Just hope he doesn't pick up any bad habits from playing with this mob this season.

 

Stuart losing his rag again! Defending ROD. We don't have aerial targets for him to kick to (who's fault is that?). His distribution, he has no problems with. Doesn't understand why people are questioning it.
Cooke had a tight calf at half time. Made him bring Samuels on, which he might have done anyway, as we needed some pace up top.

Very fair summary. I think he's got a high ceiling. But what he really needs is a slatwart CB next to him. Stick an Andrew Davies or even a Rory type next to him: that's what he needs. That's what POC needs too.

 

He gets defensive very quickly. He has no moderation in his comments at all. Either full on angry or full on happy. Plus he just says the first thing that comes into his head whihh isn't always even half of a good comment.

Second half he held the ball up really well and used his experience to win us free kicks in very good areas. He was excellent second half but because you have preconceived ideas you will never see it

 

If Bowyer had given a stroppy interview like the one we have just had from McCall, the message boards and twitter feeds would be going crazy saying he’s lost the plot.

You're always looking for any tiny thing that he does to show he's contributing. You don't pick him up on the things that are not going well.

Last season you said the goals dried up when he got injured. This season he is in the team and not scoring and not even contributing with assists or chances!

Your standards have slipped. You've gone from him being a goal scoring machine last season to 'good hold up play' this season. How much of that good hold play created chances or goals then?

He was never going to criticise individuals.As captain he has to take some responsibility as has been said many times before when they defend poorly there doesn’t seem to be any anger towards each other.Just stand looking at each other

I agree, never going to criticise them that strongly but his comments are overly defensive for me, never really balanced.
