Manager Rumour Thread

I mentioned him a couple of weeks ago as a promising young manager we should look at.

 

Would anyone take Craig Bellamy? Bit of a bell as a player but he’s passionate and I like the way he speaks about the game on Sky. Been learning his trade at Cardiff and was very close to getting the Wales job.

 

Where did you see the photo then?

 

Dunno. Would he be cheap?

looks good, with a win ration of 54.6% and apparently plays attractive football.

 

Perhaps he was approached a couple of weeks ago prior to the play offs.

 

It’s gone on that long now that anybody could end up getting the job. I’m actually beyond caring now just get somebody in the bloody building and let them crack on preparing for next season and let’s see what happens.

 

It's all a bit sad isn't it. You'd have thought there would be people crawling across glass to manage our club. Seems to be something very wrong if there's more people distancing themselves, than putting themselves forward for the job.

 

I know very worrying, I am all for taking your time, but this is ridiculous. In my view we are behind other clubs now, who have managers in place and are cracking on with recruitment and plans for next season, we are now treading water.

 

Not having a manager/coach in place isn't stopping us cracking on with signings though. It's the future you know.

 

Daily Mail aside it seems even the press are sharing our concerns. Why would any manager/coach worth their salt want to work with Edin’s hand stuck firmly up their arse? We’ll end up with someone who’s literally that desperate for the job they’ll agree to anything.

 

Would it actually surprise anyone if this is true? Certainly wouldn't me

 

So that's Parker, Nixon, that bloke who writes for the Newcastle chronicle and now this guy from the daily mail who seem to have no time for the way edin is running things. They must all have an agenda eh?

 

Our club is becoming an absolute joke.

 

If this is true then Rupp needs to rein him in before he loses all his investment. It doesn't seem like Rajic has learnt from the mistakes from last season if he continues to try run the playing side of things. The only way they will sit up and take notice is if a few thousand fans turn up outside VP and do a protest against them.

 

Surely it must be beginning to dawn on Rupp now that there is a big problem here...…..

 

Trouble is there's no one out there we know of will buy these two out, we can only watch and hope it turns out ok...worrying times !
