Don't think you are alone in that sentiment

 

Agree Staff, and I for one value Wetherby's match comments - not saying I totally agree with them but its a bit of balance to the total negative blitz of comments virtually everyone else is firing out, some of mine fall into that category last night.
Wetherby I am sure you will agree the shame is some of our more positive periods of play are unlikely to get the results they might deserve with this strike force, and the really damning part of this is since as far back as June this is no surprise to virtually everybody, apart from the manager!

 

Agree the other week at Salford there were the two Nevile brothers, Scholes ,Butt and sat at the other side of the aislr was Roy Keane, and Kenny Dalglish was at the Liverpool game last night.

 

I don't deny the likes of WW are 'entitled' to be at games as club representatives but I personally, don't need to know that as us less minions, sit on our couch wishing to be in attendance.

Playing back of a fag packet maths I think our ‘true’ salary is probably about £100k over the cap but once you take into account the exceptions for youngsters and pre-existing contracts I’d reckon we’ve got about £400k wiggle room-that’s got to be 3 decent players at this level.

Pay 3k, act like Rhodes best and never complain about the club failures and you can sit in the stand.

The 3k for me is no issue but I can't sit there and think Rhodes is great, McCall as a manager is great and the club is is great when clearly its not.

Well you've certainly wrong with your £3k figure, maybe you could ask the club what the costs are to become an associate director you being minted there are diffrent levels, I believe the top package is £10k that is home and away games with hospitality.

I rate Clarke as a creator, but as a clinical finisher? This is the man who missed open goals for fun that, if scored, would have given us automatic promotion to the Championship in the playoff season.

The missed penalty was critical. The defensive blunder was critical. And while I agree we dominated possession (and I forked out the tenner to watch only the second half given the issues with iFollow), what concerned me was the sheer lack of chances against a shaky keeper whose weaknesses were made very public knowledge.

Far from a shoot on sight policy, even with massive possession we struggled to break down a poor Bolton side and penalty appeals legitimately looked our sole route of scoring.

While I can see the positives, I found the second half frustrating and disappointing. Where was the craftsmanship?

 

And folk are up in arms about paying £15 for PL PPV
