I hope you're wrong about where we'll end up but you make some very good points there. We got a bit of a footballing lesson there. It doesn't matter if Harrogate Town have come from non league or the moon! A good footballing side have to be given credit however poor we were or made to look.
Jon Stead maybe getting on a bit he's still a good player. Don't forget he made mugs of a very good Chelsea side.

I’m not sure there are too many positives to take out of that performance, the Lincoln game, the recruitment over the summer or the general direction of the club. I’d say there is an equal chance of the Conference than League One in the next five years if things don’t change.

 

Easy to complain after a performance like that but Stuart brings the kid Hosannah in from Leeds he had 90 minutes against Wolves and did fine, then he drops him and plays French,I thought their threat came from the other side not French's to be honest, but we were second best all over the pitch, awaiting Stuarts post match interview, hope he as honest as Weaver his post match interview on Sky was bang on the money.

 

Don't care one small jot about Harrogate Town. City are poor and are worse than last year in my view. Macca out !

McCall is to blame for tonight. Christ knows what formation he was playing. I firmly believe he did that tonight to accommodate Evans!! Which just shows how naive he is.

 

I’m 29, so I’ve seen a lot of the recent bad times. This is the lowest I’ve felt. I don’t see how the club turns this round unless there’s significant change through out. Until then that’s me done, can’t feel this fed up anymore, it ain’t healthy.

Woeful performance and an embarrasing result. Being outplayed at home to a side who were still playing park football a few years ago when we were on the verge of the championship.

But I'm more concerned at the 'tactics' tonight. Stuart went to watch Harrogate last week and thought a diamond was the best system to play against them with? Sorry but he's lost the plot. It was clear from the first minute that they had us by the balls out wide and in the centre of the park. Their skipper Falkingham won every second ball and we were nowhere near. They pressed us high and we resorted to booting it long to two strikers who can't hold the ball up or win flick ons. Meanwhile we have a lad with a bit of pace sat on the bench for an hour whilst we expect Donaldson to chase balls over the top. Then when he does come on, our top scorer and centre forward is moved into a number ten role. The same thing Bowyer was slated for doing to Doyle.

We're a club allergic to scoring goals, no pace, no movement, no width and no creativity. If Stuart really thinks we're done in this window then we're in trouble.

 

Harrogate have not conceded away from home this season 4-0 at Southend 0 - 0 at Port Vale and tonight, they gave 100% did we do the same.
