You forgot wonder boy Clarkes contribution - just how much possession did he give away - he was shocking tonight.
Only good things is we have only played 4 games, we cannot get much worse so we must and will improve. The midfield is poor, not firing on all cylinders and the strike force we have is poor but is not helped by the lack of chances created. High balls up to our front men are a waste of possessions they lose almost all of the duals with the marking defenders or do not even jump. Still think we need to add at keast 3 short based on what we have seen so far - as Samuel as a 19 year old will not be the answer in the striker area at the moment.

 

We normally loose to Harrogate.
We were poor,I liked Donaldson,that’s about it.

 

Second half somehow got worse.

Pedestrian. Ponderous. Lacking incisiveness and any creativity and pace.

And all that could've been predicted with the line up and players available.

Agenda? Are you taking the piss? The mind honestly boggles. It's pointless even discussing it with you tbh. On a day where weve lost at home to Harrogate Town, where they've had more than 3 times the attempts at goal on and off target, and you think someone who's 'negative', 'needs help' me. I can never get my head around the contingent of our fanbase who have no expectation or ambition whatsoever. I suppose we get what we deserve in that sense. Keep clapping though - give it 3 or 4 years and when Liversidge FC are beating us you can keep taking the high ground.

I also think its lazy to just throw comments around like 'you need help'. Its a poor position to take and of it's intended to try and be elitist, I think its more likely to make you look daft after a game like tonight's

 

Another McCall tinker lesson. Buys Evans, a decent player at this level, but was he really what we needed or was it just another player he knew who was available. Goes with a back four not allowing the full backs to get up and leaves Clarke isolated with no one around him then takes Clarke off and goes with three strikers. I love you to bits Stuart but sometimes you don't help yourself.

 

I don't see how they can know what their role is when it changes from game to game.

 

Mid table is optimistic on that showing mate. I still cannot believe how poor we were from the first to the last minute.

Fair play to Harrogate though thoroughly deserved the victory,

 

To be honest the whole midfield was poor. Watt had a job done on him by their captain and was lucky to stay on the pitch.
Cooke and Samuels both had clear cut chances to score but we just lack any kind of composure.
We desperately need a tough hard tackler in the middle of the park and we have 4 days to rectify it.

Playing semi pro football whilst we were losing to Millwall at Wembley. That’s how far Rupp has taken us

 

I said we need a football/sporting director and today highlighted why.

The players we signed are shocking. I don't know what our formation was or anything..It was mighty poor. No pace or anything.

 

Poor performance from City but fair play to Harrogate,play as a team no nerves and get stuck in. We had too much youth in important midfield positions.

 

On the plus side, at least we only lost to them by one goal this time.... That's progress, right?

Awful tonight

 

Can someone come round to mine tonight and put me out of my misery by shooting me?

 

Possibly the rupp era but more so the rahic era. That team had no fight or desire against most teams at league two level who come here to get any result.
We were abysmal from start to finish and deserved nothing from the game over 90 minutes and a more troubling note is, is the fact we don't know how to kill teams off.

 

Sending Rhodes round.. I will call the police in 10 mins..Might be a way of getting him out of the club.
