City have been against it since it was first suggested looked in the Grimsby live and all it says is that the Scunthorpe chairman has been against it in the past. Looks like this guy whoever it is has got it wrong

The club will be fully aware of the article from the Athletic as I am sure the club has a subscription to it because it's a creditable media outlet.

So we have spooned Mr Yes Man Parker for months then it seems done the opposite.

When you read between the lines it could've been the plan...Remember Ryan saying"Don't worry about what others do" when it was clear the right way was to sign the high earners first. Maybe, we didn't have the gutts to say we can't compete with Salford and no big names this season.

Bradford City are a SME business with an owner and a CEO! The CEO should be communicating with the fans on everything but I suppose it allows situations like that this to happen if it does..

This is shocking if true, but I don't understand why they would do it. I'm not disputing that they might well have been secretly in favour of the cap whilst publicly stating they were against it, but if that was the case, they could still have voted against it and got what they wanted. It was pretty obvious from early on and all the way in the run up to the vote that the cap was going to be voted in by a big majority, so why vote the opposite of what you stated publicly you were going to do, and risk it all coming out at a later date that you lied? It doesn't make any sense.

 

Mccall and Sparks said the same thing about Vaughan in the zoom forum.

 

We might get some clarification if anything happens on Twitter with it. I hope it’s an error on the journalist side but I’m not so sure

He was doing a bit more than that Park. He was categorically stating we would not let Vaughan go to a rival without significant compensation. Thank god he is a man of his word eh?

 

And I am sure he meant it at the time. But when the manager admits defeat and says Vaughan has layed down tools it’s either back the manager or overrule him

 

It was always a possibility that would be the outcome though . The club must have been aware of that and should have planned accordingly. You can't run a business on saying things that you, 'meant at the time'.
