    I know Wikipedia lists him as a forward, but I think he is a left winger. That is certainly where he was playing in the play off semi final against Borehamwood. So it is not surprising he doesn't score that many and he would in no way be a replacement for Vaughan if he went.

    Salford are building a team of leaders. However, McCall thinks leaders are going out of the game. Come on Stu. We love you but that's nonsense

    This salary cap we keep hearing about. Will it actually happen. What will be the ramifications if a club breaks it ( a points hit but how many? Court of arbitration anyone?) and most importantly, wonder what the copious loopholes will be.

    Mansfield have financed their signings by transferring their winger . There is only Bolton who will have half a team of young players mixed in their team and Salford spending money. I would remind you we have signed

    Billly Clarke, Sutton are not good enough.

    Salford signings are better than ours and so are Boltons and Mansfield.

    You have no idea wether Sutton is good enough or not and Clarke has years of experience playing above league two and a top manager like Holloway wanted to keep him but couldn’t afford it

    As much as I would have liked him here. I wouldn't have wanted to see us offer a 2 year contract to a player that turns 36 in January
