Do you know i can't remember. I'm guessing we won. Its no medal of honour to finish above those two as both teams hammered us in the latter end of the season, the Salford result could easily have been 5 or 6. Hopefully with some of the shite gone we can move on from the last two seasons.

We got relegated from the league above with a team that some said was our worst ever 8 points adrift at the bottom at the time the usual crew were predicting we would go straight out the league. And yet Bury and Mansfield we beacons of light just as a couple of years earlier Bury were the same.

We were crap at times but there were mitigating factors our immense injury list mid season would have relegated teams with much smaller squads. Overall we had a good home record and a terrible away record. There is no reason we cannot have a good season coming up. The main worry for me is the manager

the manager is the least of my worries park, my worries come from the man at the top. Very little in terms of leadership making its way down the ladder to the management team.

Why is the manager your main worry?

See for me @Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart is spot on. The main concerns have to start from Rupp then down to Rhodes. Unless you know the direction and leadership of the club?

Let's all just sit back and think. We are allowing the manager to clearly bring the players he wants with no plan at all.

I can't stress enough when you look at football these days the sides that do well are doing well off the pitch.

Every single team that won the leagues in the country has or are improving off the pitch...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!

    I'll start with Swindon:

    https://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/news/2020/february/major-milestone-reached-in-purchase-of-the-county-ground/

Brought the ground off the council. @Swindon@Swindon will know more than me.

    Let's move on to Coventry:

    https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-training-ground-work-17770407

We all know about Coventry's problems but they are improving their training ground and do plan to build their own stadium.

Unfortunately, I have to talk about Leeds:

    https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/latest-leeds-united-news/revealed-deal-place-leeds-united-now-andrea-radrizzani-owns-elland-road-483803

    https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-latest-training-ground-16965982

One of the first things the owner did is buy the stadium and now they're in the PL and now moving into a new training ground.

Gladly moving on to Champions of England, Champions of Europe and Champions of the World...Liverpool

    https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-given-exciting-new-glimpse-18335366
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/11/29/liverpool-unveil-60m-plans-anfield-expansion-will-increase-capacity/

New training ground and once again increasing capacity at Anfield.

I can't stress enough who off the pitch activity matters and how if you want to improve on the pitch then off the pitch improves has to be done.I am shocked to high heaven that Bradford City as a club are not making any off the pitch improvements and haven't for years and years. Rhodes ideas are out of date and fans urgently need to start questioning the direction of the club.

So, having McCall has you main worry shows a lack of understanding football in the 2020. Football has changed since Bobby Moore the legend, a true legend (@Interested Bystander@Interested Bystander would firmly a agree) lifted the World Cup in 66. It's more than just a game! It's more than just a game and Bradford City urgently need to wake up to that fact.

I hope Rupp or Rupp and Rhodes now start to tell the loyal fans what is the plan for the future because most of you are mugs! Hate to say it but you are. You follow the club which is great but @Faithful Bantam@Faithful Bantam has been saying it for years the club lacks ambition. You pay your money and now the club is getting overtaken by the lacks of Accrington.

You say you love the club? Well start wanting more and don't accept sound bites! Stop listening for excuses for failure! That's not been negative Park, it's being REAL! It's knowing the club and the club make excuses for non improvement. We are a club that should be in the Championship at least but in league 2 with nothing to show for it.

Well @Fordy117@Fordy117, thats one of your better posts for me, hits the nail on the head. Non of us know what the plans are for next season, let alone the season after next and beyond.

You’re right, in that we aren’t looking to build for the future, that should’ve been the long term aim once we lost the ground after administration. To get our ground back. There’s never any mention of building a new stadium or buying the ground or building training facilities. If Accrington Stanley (who are they?) can, surely we should be able to as well.

If you had your house repossessed and were left paying an extortionate rent, you’d look at cheaper options. I realise with the fire and all that holds with the fans, maybe difficult but in order to move forward, we have to move elsewhere.

The pitch, it’s location, the stadium. Everything there that’s holding us back from progressing.

If you want to progress forward and then stay at that forward position you need to plan accordingly. It's tough for lower league football at the moment and it ain't gonna get any better. But I'll tell you now there ain't any plans in place to take this club forward, merely just to tread water in the hope a manager blindly hits a home run. Even if he did, there's no plan to progress on the back of that success.
We're not the only club in this position but there are clubs in the lower league that do have plans in place. Whether they will work is pure conjecture but a strategy is in place. As I've said before, if the realistic view of this clubs hierarchy is to make up the numbers then let us know. Got better things to do with my leisure time.

Any suggestions as to the location of a magic money tree with a multi - millionaire owner is ?. We could do with someone with the foresight of a ambitious owner who knows how to drive a club forward to an higher league . Wonder what happened to the Bury chairman ? , now he did alter the direction of that club . He would work wonders here . And of course Bolton have 4 or 5 out of work chairman who would be a good fit , ambitious wanting to drive the club forward , in fact the football world is full of ambitious people with great ideas . The future is bright if we could just attract 1 on these onboard .

What's concerning is that you're right because of Covid 19 it is tough for most lower league clubs and certainly because football currently isn't allowing fans in but whats concerning me is that we don't have any off the pitch projects going on but we still seem to shopping in the bargain bin and getting players that did well at bloody Grimsby!

So, now so called struggling with nothing to show for it and signing players like DHM, Billy Clarke and Levi Sutton! Do me a favour!
