    Agreed. However it is a balance between spending within our means and the appetite for risk. If we increase our appetite for risk (spend money we don't have) and the success doesn't come (last 3 years?) then we have to accept a period of 'adjustment'. We need to level the coffers before we make another push.

    I have no problem with this model and believe we are smack in the middle of a 'period of adjustment'.

    You are right that that this model does limit the possibility of success and could, without some success, also limit the appeal of the club but on the other hand we cannot simply look to the owner to continually put their hand into their pocket and finance the club with no tangible benefit.

    Let's be frank. That is where Bradford City are. I get pounded for supposedly lacking ambition but we are a lower division team in a struggling mostly disinterested (sporting team wise) city with no real history of success and other than a few 'blips' over the past close to 100 years what leads us to believe that we are anything else?

    What is it we expect... realistically?

    With you on that one. I mentioned him a few weeks ago. Imagine he is on a few quid. We already have too many CB's on the books and not enough MFs though so didnt expect us to move for him. We would have to bin 1 or 2 off first.

    I believe he had a spell under Macca at City a decade ago....

    I agree. But im guessing Clarke will be pretty much on peanuts to what Salford are paying Tom Clarke. Main issue is us binning off a CB to make room for him.

    AOC and POC will be on very cushy 'Rahic contracts' and BRE is absolute babba.
