    True though. You yawn away.

Villa manager on Sky, saying we would stay up, we not scared of going down. That's what you want! Not a cowardly soft team like West Ham. Small club in London.

NEW: EFL chairman Rick Parry tells MPs they expect 3 clubs to be promoted to PL and 3 to be relegated and if not there will be "very messy" legal action. #leeds #WBA#Fulham

Like there won't be 'very messy legal action' if anyone is relegated from the Premier League without the season ending?

If the season doesn't end, there'll be legal action in pretty much any scenario you'd care to call out. The most 'fair' outcome would probably be to void the whole thing for reasons of force majeure, but even then I'm sure there'd be legal cases forthcoming.

The whole thing is messy. There isn't an 'unmessy' way out. Even completing the season behind closed doors is messy.

    Agree pal.

However, the EFL have a massive problem. The Pl are racing along and even if it doesn't finish they will say it tried.

Then no relegation will mean it's the EFL problem because it will be a knock on effect. As what do the EFL do then as the PL are not going accept 3 extra clubs to their league.

Crystal Palace owner, if we don't finish the season it's a doomsday situation and we football will like airlines come August if it doesn't restart. We have no money going in from August.

Why should sponsors or anyone pay us? Why should tv pay us? Our product isn't worth the value if we can't show how it's going to work.

Players will get the virus but they will get it next year. It's going to be the way until a vaccine is found.

People are not understanding the impact on the game if it doesn't restart.

With Parry and Place Chairman comments today. I just don't see how next season happens.

League 1 & 2 talking about salary capping which Neville is against but seems that's going through.

Once the premier league make the decision of what’s happening the efl will follow. If the premier league turned around tomorrow and said “we are ending the season now, here’s your european qualifiers based on x y z. No champion and no relegation”. The rest would just follow. Efl won’t make a decision without the premier league and who can blame them. We are in a position where they dictate the game in this country and I am hoping one outcome of all this is they lose that power

PL won't lose their power but if the bottom 6 continue with their greedy nonsense it will lead to a division in which I can see the top 10-12 clubs doing their own thing.

You're allegedly a businessman, yet to fail to grasp a few basic principles. You quote Steve Parrish who sees a nightmare scenario for Palace and others, in other words greed.
Every single PL club with no exceptions aim to profit.
BTW you continued references to small club in London only shows you lack any grasp of reality.

What on earth are you talking about!

West Ham were bashing on about health, using death it had nothing to do with health as now they're willing to play as long as not relegated.

Parish and others haven't used health as a reason not to play but West Ham and Brighton did. Scared of going down. Scared of Aston Villa. Hang your head in shame. Little club in London!

You're defending a club which is an embarrassment at this moment..

I agree. Whatever option is pursued, there will be plenty of losers whether clubs or sponsors or broadcasters who feel aggrieved and want to pursue it legally. There are big bucks at stake so it's understandable. I said last month that there will be an enormous bunfight to resolve all of this. And I still believe that's still on the cards. Had somebody at the FA, the PL, the EFL, the PFA, the top flight clubs or even in Govt demonstrated any real leadership qualities rather than retreating into their own corners, 'football' may have come out of this with some credit. As it is, everybody will be a loser in the longer term although some might gain in the short term in return for their many pieces of gold.

ps Unfortunately for all, there is no force majeure clause in the TV broadcasting contracts to fall back on.

Allegedly Watford West Ham Norwich, Aston Villa and Brighton will vote against the neutral grounds proposal.
the premier league need a vote of at least 14-6 to swing this in their favour as a proposal. I would imagine more will vote against but not everyone has made their feelings known on the subject.

There is no need for the constant bashing of West Ham. Even if they chose to be the only club to go against the proposal it wouldn’t matter. When you start to get more than 6 clubs it’s out of the premier leagues hands
