    To help look towards the future, then I guess we all have views about the players we could/should keep and those who’s contracts expire who are no longer required at City.

    As I understand it the following players have Contracts for next season, so unless terminated by mutual consent, or transferred to another club, they will be at Valley Parade for 2020/2021:
    • Jackson Longridge
    • Paudie O’Connor (until 2022)
    • Richards - Everton
    • Anthony O’Connor
    • Pritchard
    • Novak
    • Vaughan
    • French
    • Wood
    • Guthrie
    • Staunton
    • Hornby
    Longridge, French, Staunton, Hornby are all young fringe players, who I guess will not be on large salaries. I guess Vaughan may wish to move on if he can secure a contract with another club, Wood could command a small fee?

    There is a lot of scope to rebuild the team, hopefully with fewer players and more quality. However the central defence is ‘packed out’ as four are centre backs. There is a significant opportunity to fundamentally rebuild.

    Are there any players, who will be out of Contract at the end of the season, who you would offer a new deal to? What about the ‘loan’ players, again would you offer any of them a permanent Contract?

    According to Parker, Donaldson has an agreed extention to his contract leveraged in his favour. If HE takes that up it's another

    That list is a massive problem as I would only keep Wood for it.

    Vaughan, POC and maybe maybe Everton I would keep but the rest I would be looking to pay off it get rid.

    You forgot to add Anderson in that poll. Not that anyone will vote for him anyway. Other than park who'll be along soon to tell us he'll be good after a full pre season.

    Christ ! Boreyer brought some poor players to this club !. Is Boreyers deadline striker Gutherie even still at the club ? But honestly if I"m Stuart I am keeping none on either list except Wood; Vaughan.

    As for the loan players absolutely none of them either ! We are in a right mess

    Donaldson, O'Donnell (dont think O'Donnell is fantastic but is adequate at this level), mcarten and reeves. Rest can go to be honest... Did think these players could do well at L2 but was wrong.

    Novak and Gunthrie can be on the bench for Vaughan and Donaldson. Maybe mix it up with Gunthrie coming on.

    Midfield needs significant investment in summer.

    I wouldn't offer a contract to any of them. Which one of them has done enough to be offered a new contract, not one of them for me, and that includes O'Donnell who a few have voted for.

    I know it isnt going to happen. but of the contracted players, I would only want Wood and Paudie here next season

    Out of the lot them I'd hope we can keep Wood (extend his contract) and make Paudie a main player, keep Donaldson, recall Vaughan, maybe keep McCartan as he got something. Pritchard has something to offer but that is it. I rate MgGee over O'Donnell but hell probably go back to Pompey.

    Theres some serious dead wood to get rid of, and some wheeling and dealing to be done in the hope we can get rid of some of those still contracted who offer nothing. Hard to see how the likes of Guthrie can offer anything to a team with aspirations of success. Hope we get rid of the rest

    I'd keep Wood, Paudie, Staunton, maybe French and try and sign McGee, who looked OK in the few games he played. The problem is, who'd want to take the rest of the contracted players off us? I originally looked forward to the signing of Vaughan but haven't missed his annoying antics so, if Tranmere want to keep him, I'd heave a sigh of relief, especially from the financial view.

    Pritchard could be a decent squad member with better players around him and French should be kept on to continue developing assuming his wages are low. I agree with the rest.
