A lot of the shite are off in the summer, you can judge McCall all you want but many a manager have failed with the core of this squad since they were recruited.

The majority if not all of this squad are a disgrace to the shirt. Wouldn’t lose any sleep if the lot of them were released.
How Richard O Donnell gets the captains job is beyond me. Probably the worst keeper I’ve seen here for a decade.

I'm hoping McCall isn't coming back thinking he is the super manager that he really isn't.

I don't understand why he changed a winning team so much.

I think he doesn't rate Donaldson(keeps on dropping him and stripped him of the captaincy which was strange) or Harry but McCall got it wrong today.

 

I agree. However, they had better find one other than trying to reclaim money back for Rupp. Ignore the obvious and by the time you realise that you need a plan of action, it will be too late!

This IS NOT a wind up.
About an hour ago I emailed SR with my angst at our team.
To my amazement he replied within 30 mins.
I don't think it fair to share his email reponse but, he IS as peed off as most of us.

 

That is obvious from the tone of his interviews even though he can't actually say on the radio exactly what he would like to. He has been saddled with a large squad of numpties who have difficulty in controlling and looking after that round thing that they are supposed to be running after. At the end of the day, he is one of us who can see a lot of expensive non league players tied to us.

I haven't seen or heard from Norman on here in weeks. Maybe he just gave up on the whole thing.

I have to say I would understand. The club is in such a mess and the appointment of McCall is, for me, almost the last straw. It is such a abysmal, backward looking, unambitious appointment that it is in itself a reflection of how far we have fallen.

As everyone knows the McCall appointment worried me because it seems he cannot be criticised. No matter what happens it is someone else fault. We are willing to accept mediocrity on the field because we are unwilling to point the finger at something we holding high esteem and I believed all of this will ultimately lead to division within the club and is not the way a forward thinking club drives itself forward.

And that is how, third time around, it started but there is a change in the air.

In the first phase it was "It's Bowyers fault. He is too defensive these players need to be attacking. Under Stuart we can go up. This team just needs the shackles taking off. Stuart will have us going at teams with an attacking style"

It became clear this wasn't happening as soon as people thought so we arrived at phase 2 "He hasn't had enough time. The weather has stopped us training. He needs more time to see who he has and how they fit into his plans"

Seven weeks in we find ourselves in the third phase where we now find "It's the players, They aren't his. They are not good enough. The club sold Vaughn and Doyle if Stuart had them... He needs players who can play his style. They aren't fit to wear the shirt"

However hidden in amongst all of this there is a sliver of light. I see there are more contributors now openly questioning the appointment. It is difficult for many of them so they try to qualify their criticisms and offset them buy using one of the above statements.

Overall I absolutely agree that the club needs a change from top to bottom and that one of those changes is we stop appointing 'old boys' to positions within the club because of something they did 200 (not a mistype) years ago.

On a final note. I really don't want to be sitting in VP in 2040 listening to the crowd singing 'Stuart McCalls Bradford Army' as we are asked to welcome him back for his 10th time as manager of Bradford City!

I actually don't understand your statement 'I don't think it fair to share his email response..' Why? He responded and I presume there is nothing contained within the email that is confidential? He provided his response in an email, that is for all intents and purposes an open communication, with no guarantee (or request) you would not share it and given his position he would not send anything he had a problem with if it got into the public domain.

But to put your mind at ease why don't you simply drop him another email asking if he has any problem with you publishing his response to this forum. Sharing his communication could go a long way to easing the minds of many on here.

 

No, sorry it is not an open communication.
If I posted it verbatim I would feel I was betraying him.
Suffice to say he feels as we do, and is obviously as annoyed.
He thinks fans paying to follow the team away deserve better and, I feel he will not suffer fools gladly.
