Ok, you seemed to have not noticed that Bowyer to McCall is a total different management style plus over the last how many managers since McCall was last here they've all been different.

Also, you talk about why spend money on a position we don't need... why have most football clubs have one now then?

Why did we appoint Ryan Sparks? Did we need too?

The problem is no one's interested in coming in and "taking the club forward " we are where we are all the excellent staff City had were shifted out by Rahic I think there are still problems , Rahic related in the club that make it unattractive to outsiders. The Rahic period has tainted the club very deeply and sombody said it could take 5 year's to recover there's still a long way to go regardless of who's in charge on or off the field.

The only thing he is doing is trying to give himself time like Bowyer was doing when he said he needed 3 transfer window rubbish. He can win.. just concentrate on the here and now. So if McCall does not get us a play off place he won't have the likes of yourself saying he's not good enough he's only had 15 games to get us a play off place.

McCall isn't the problem. I have said I would of given him a 4 year contract. I've not seen the post where you said give Stuart a 4 year deal ? McCall is here and we need to give him time but he needs help. The club needs help. It needs to think about when McCall has gone.

I fear for the club due the points you've said. Rupp shows no ambition as an owner so why would a new owner? Rhodes running the club like he owned it. Rhodes is a yesterday's man and we need people that move with the times now. So basically we hope new owners come along and invest in the club as that seems the only option left unless we accept the club is going to be run as a self sufficient unit that generates it's own finance, I won't hold my breath.

We're standing still and that's why I fear for the club but some would say we are going backwards. I don't think there is any doubt as a club since Rahic & Rupp got involved the club has gone backwards that's not an opinion but a fact, they bought a very well run club club with little or no debt, monies still outstanding from past transfers, and a club that had improved season on season just missing out on Wembley when we were beaten by Millwall in the semi final play off, yet we're told Rupp believes our club is valued around £10m......and we thought Rahic was the deluded partner.

They don't in the lower leagues! Even two of the clubs you mentioned earlier - Crewe and Exeter - chose not to fill the role when the previous incumbent left the club.

Well that's not true as the director of communications said they has been interest in the club.

As for the 5 years, we don't have 5 years. We rolled out McCall now and if this doesn't work then we will lose fans and sponsorship deals will be worth less. So, the club needs to be forward thinking now.

Radic has gone..we need to move on from him.

But that's the problem, we can't the club from top to bottom has gone so far back successive managers can't revive it Rhodes can only do what he can and no one else is interested.

Never ever hear any suggestions from you how this club moves forward.

    Tick, tick along with Rhodes!

A fan you're the perfect target audience. Happy and content with anything the club does. A marketing dream!

Unfortunately yes. Some posters seem to have a problem distinguishing between their embroidered opinions and real facts! ;)

    And it's becoming very tedious.

Well that's it from me.. I am done putting forward any suggestions.

Let's just tick away. Getting us far isn't it?

This site going to be mega boring if people don't express opinions. Time to be happy with failure!

Expressing opinions on here is to be encouraged. But conflating opinions with facts is confusing for everybody and isn't to be encouraged. Banging on about the same issue ad nauseam to the annoyance of others is definitely not encouraged.

And for the record, I don't recall anybody on here saying they were 'happy with failure' as you describe it so let's stop with the hyperbole which has no substance to it. It's fecking boring.

Ok, fact is every club top of the league has a football/sporting director barring Rotherham.. You happy now?

Think for me it's about learning from the best and improving. Not making excuses!

I'm not about banging on about the same issue, it's about discussing how the club can move forward but I am done.. let's all just wait for Saturday to come round and discuss the game but when the manager says we have too many players and we look to rebuild again in the summer then don't wonder why because when you go on about me bashing on about the same thing well it's rinse and repeat with the club isn't it?

Anyway, I look forward to the game on Saturday and hopefully 3 points... suggestions from me are over!

Never ever hear any suggestions from you how this club moves forward. I don't profess to be a successful business man as yourself, my thoughts are get it right on the pitch the rest should take care of itself up to a point, wasn't that the very reason Rack & Ruin bought our club because they saw the potential ?.

Tick, tick along with Rhodes! Up to a point as fans there is little else we can do , we had Rahic before as CEO and that went well didn't it, Rupp knew little with regards football in general never mind Bradford City, so I'd suggest short term re-appointing Julian Rhodes was a good call on his opinion.

A fan you're the perfect target audience. Happy and content with anything the club does. A marketing dream !.
I'd suggest with 60 + years behind me watching Bradford City your possibly correct, unfortunately being a fan/supporter of Bradford City there was little as an individual I could do to change things,I've helped run supporters clubs to generate money in the past, done my share of helping the club with regards DIY jobs as a teenager, blanket collections at half time (that wouldn't be allowed now a days with health & Safety) sold raffle tickets etc.
I'll use the quote that has been used many times on here "I'm just happy we have a club to support", tell us just what you believe we can do as individuals or a forum group that will make our owner more pro-active and make Rupp invest more of his own personal wealth into Bradford City,
I get it more money should give us a better chance of being a success but at this present moment it looks very much to me with his lack of interest in football his financial backing will be minimum to keep the club as you quote "ticking over".

Most supporters can see that this squad has no goalscorer, no ball winner and no decent right back (just two crap ones). Bowyer built the squad and seemed happy with it despite creating those problems.
McCall didn’t build it and has had no chance to rectify it. Hence expectations on him should be less than the expectations that we had of Bowyer. And yes I’d be saying that no matter who the new manager was. I’m certainly no McCall apologist.

Well that's it fans seemed to have down tools and just happy from Rhodes to have us ticking over.

    That's fine mate.

You watch Top Gear on Sunday? They said we get asked why we don't talk about normal car so went through about new 30 cars with in most people's price range and hammered them all. They didn't care if it upset the audience or manufacturers . They were stating you want to buy shi&e you will get sh&te but we're different and we will discuss the non normality.

Tyson Fury fighting on Sunday against a man how has the hardest punches in boxing. Now if he believed in facts and he couldn't make a difference to win he wouldn't be in that fights. Facts don't offen making reasoning. You deal with the facts and look to see how you can improve.

Suppose the point I am trying to make is as a forum if we want to be boring and deal in facts, just wait until match day with no one making suggestions then fine. I don't own the club, I am not Rhodes, I can't make the changes but I would like to think we can discuss any potential changes or suggestions to the future no matter how wild they're. Some of the richest people in the world became rich with wild ideas and not accepting the facts.

However, you're right nothing is in our hands. Let's just wait to Saturday comes and hopefully 3 points mate. Let's all wait to see what happens with the club.

In the last three games for City, Swindon and Tranmere, then Novak has scored more goals than Doyle and Vaughan have in total! You seem to have ‘airbrushed’ out his arrival! ;)

I understand his frustrations. The word failure might be a bit strong but it does seem that a lot of our fan base are happy to accept mediocrity with some of the attitudes shown on here and on social media. Like a stubbornness that they can't bring themselves to slate the club when it's totally necessary to do so at this moment in time. From what I see on multiple platforms. Some are just happy to plod along no matter what division just to have something to do on a Saturday and get served up any old dross and will clap them off willingly week after week. I want this club to be the best it can be and be further up the pyramid. I want a decent atmosphere with full away ends week to week. Just think the attitude of some fans reflects the board and the attitude to just keep ticking over. There's teams with smaller crowds, worse facilities showing more ambition than us. Utterly frustrating when all it needs is some structure and planning. First point of call should be a Head Scout to work alongside McCall or a Paul Jewell sort of role DOF or whatever the title is. Get rid of the deadwood like Anderson and Co and use their wages for a proper coaching staff. Head Scout, Youth Scout, Striker coach, Sports Analysts and the pitch etc... actually turn us into a professional looking outfit on and off the pitch. Need a plan in place instead of crossing our fingers every summer and hoping for the best. Trim the squad and expand the staff and get everyone pulling in the same direction.

Don't really have to airbrush him out. 1 good goal does not mean he's our saviour and I'm not judging him yet. The first goal blasted at him and knew nothing about. If you're suggesting Novak is in the class of Vaughan that's crackers. Haven't seen anything from Novak to suggest he's going to outscore Doyle and Vaughan.

Did you not spot the wink! ;)
In all fairness to Novak he has scored two goals for us. The ‘Ginger Pele’ hasn’t scored for us or Swindon since 1st January (but has a yellow card last Saturday).
Vaughan still has to register a goal for Tranmere in four games, although he has managed another Trade mark yellow card.
