Sack the manager

Part of getting it right has to be allowing the new manager to bring his own number 2 and backroom staff in. If we aren't going to do that we might as well not bother.

Yes, I would sack him 100% as it's not what the clubs needs. We need footballing people in it.

However, leaving the need for footballing person aside, he tweets nonsense and talks rubbish. Saying the players left for footballing reasons! Really? Doyle and Vaughan left because of Bowyer.

Now, do I expect him to be honest? Yes! Bradford City has no identity on or off the pitch and since his poor appointment I haven't heard how we are going to create one or anything.

He goes to games here the chants of we want Bowyer out.. as least say SORRY to the 2k fans that went yesterday. He doesn't have to say he wants Bowyer out also.

Director of Communications doesn't try to act funny on twitter on deadline day when in all honesty it was an embarrassment!

So, yes I would of sacked him long time ago as he's bloody useless and utterly pointless!

Can you imagine another business where the owner doesn't actually want to own it? I'm gonna be pretty blunt and to the point, i can't see what the future holds because i'm sure as hell Rupp doesn't. I'm not sure why Rhodes decided to hang around but he was definitely going to leave. So wheres the direction? The January transfer window told me everything i need to know about the ambition of this club at the present time. Did we have any sort of list of potential signings? A keeper because one was injured, a player a club wanted rid of to trim the wage bill and a striker from the lowest ranked team in the football league? After letting 35 goals walk out of the building?
There is no plan to what we do, we live hand to mouth hoping our manager can pull a rabbit out of a hat. I know that staff situation is threadbare behind the scenes, theres just no desire from within to build a successful business. Until that changes i'm not sure what different managers can do.

 

A director of communications is supposed to communicate. In a meaningful way that makes sense to all supporters. That nonsense on deadline day was not was he’s paid for.

Firstly, media people are not footballing people and vice versa, if you want a good example of that listen to Andy Kiwomya.

Secondly you are suggesting that Sparks should tweet his way out of a job just because you wish the club were more forthcoming with behind the scenes business.

Thirdly honesty is not his job, promotion of the club is, which is at the behest and instruction of his employers.

Next I would suggest that part of his job was to try and bring some excitement to what was one of the worst transfer windows in living memory, that was certainly one of his hardest days in work so far.

Finally you just said you would sack him if he didn’t do what you say, literally what do you want him to do? I imagine he likes being able to pay his bills. He isn’t and has never been there to express his views, he is employed to express the views of his bosses as and when they want him to do so.

You are attacking Sparks for doing the job he is employed to do, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want all these personal attacks, here and in particular across various other social media outlets. You pick on a man doing his job just because you can’t complain to the people who really deserve your wrath.

 

Hiding behind the truth as well and saying figures that are not true to defend the club.

The art of communication is to know your audience and being funny, talking nonsense yesterday to a set of fans that are not happy and want their manager out is the wrong thing to do.

He would of gained more respect tweeting or getting on Radio Leeds saying Sorry to all the fans that went yesterday and to Mansfield, Rhodes and Rupp are camera shy. They appointmented him to front up, he needs to bloody do that! Admit things are not good enough.. don't hide in your suit!

 

I'd suggest most Bradford City fans would see straight though that sort of statement, the last thing we need at the moment is lies, whether they are Ryan's which I doubt or the hierarchy of our club, if it's lies were building our future on God help us.

Ok, is it Ryan’s responsibility to tell the truth and get sacked, or Rhodes and Rupp’s? Think about that and stop shooting the messenger boy

 

Think he will get February to try and turn it around. New signings etc will be used

 

We have two choices

Stick with Boreyer for the next 15 games fail and then sack him. Then look to start again. having crashed the 20-21 season ticket in the process ?

Or

Twist now sack Boreyer rescue what we can from this campaign riding the "new manager" bounce and try to harness that to support a last ditch play off hope and season ticket sales for 20-21 ?

I know the one that makes sense ftom both a football and business perspective ?
