Vaughan and Doyle gone

All hypothetical @Captain Grumpy who knows what Parkinson could have achieved under these two with better financial backing.
Even McCall took us one step nearer getting up into the Championship and these two clowns wanted him out during that closed season.

 

I agree we wouldn't have afforded them but that's the crux of the matter.....the owner to be fair has put in the money we have brought in Doyle, Vaughan, Donaldson - I could never have imagined three strikers like that at this level! - plus loans from higher leagues and that has given us an excellent opportunity but unfortunately our manager (who must have sanctioned most of the arrivals) has not worked out how to get a tune out of them! So much so he packed one of them off to our promotion rivals where he scored for fun.

I'm sorry but this season really doesn't reflect well on the manager. He might be able to rescue it and turn it around but he's made it bloody hard for himself and in his approach he has annoyed a lot of fans!

Just a bit more attacking intent and we could have had the draws at Colchester and to Cheltenham and even the losses at Mansfield but we'd still have supported him and the team.

 

Is this a shambles or what! Joke of a club ran by total jokers!

So let me get this right!

We have let or captain and offical leading goal scorer go out on loan.

We're letting a 23 goal scorer go

And we haven't got a fu@king replacement lined up!! Is this serious?

Doyle is a penalty box player he is useless elsewhere he was always going out in the summer I think the Donaldson Vaughan partnership was working until Donaldsons injury.

Do you remember, when Bowyer signed Vaughan he said he’d tracked him for a long time and wanted to sign him for previous clubs. This was Bowyer’s man, effectively the signing that meant for football and financial reasons Doyle had to go. And guess what? In the very next window he’s on his way. So let’s get this right: in Bowyer’s first window he signs Vaughan and lets Doyle go. In his second window he brings back Doyle then lets him go and lets Vaughan go at the same time. If Gary is a good manager I’m glad we haven’t got a bad one. But he did say he’d need three windows to sort it. Will he be here in the summer when Vaughan’s loan deal expires. He could bring him back!
