I would suggest that going into the managers office with a 'FFS gaffer lets try and play football and attack teams' hasn't quite panned out then....

 

Gonna reserve judgement until I see who the replacements are. To be honest neither are really working for me in a (dire) Bowyer team so if Bowyer is staying then I get the reasons.

Loaning you’re skipper though is just bizarre and shows there is unrest in the camp.

 

Tomorrow nights front line could be interesting, especially with Donaldson not 100% fit. Oh, and Cheltenham have conceded only 8 all season.

Imagine shipping out Doyle and Vaughan though and then looking at two MORE midfielders from Blackburn and Bolton.

100% agree. Doyle never wanted to come back and Vaughan, despite a decent enough goal return, hasn’t had the effect we would all hope - both down to the way play.

If this allows funds for the right replacements and a midfield general - then I’m surprisingly ok with this.

 

Apart from the comedy value what is the point of anybody turning up tomorrow night, match should be boycotted by all City fans, let them know how we feel...

Not surprised in the least. Doyle exit was always on the cards. I would imagine Vaughan is too hot to handle for Bowyer

Massive gamble for Bowyer though, this could turn very toxic for him now if the gamble backfires.

He must have replacements lined up to sanction this though, surely?
