Answered this in the other thread.

It's not about an instant bounce.

It's about long term vision and having footballing identity. Bowyer has none. He's taking us nowhere, so fans going to games might as well give their money to a charity and spend time with their loved ones instead of going to watch Bradford City because Bowyer is taking the club nowhere. He has no plan, no identity and no clue. We are all wasting time and money including the club.

So, getting rid of him is about giving the club hope not just in the short term but the long term as well.

I do understand the point you are making but I would argue that with both McCall and Parky at least you could see the strategy behind what they were trying to achieve and therefore could probably argue valid reasons for and against in keeping the faith..

With Bowyer the only real argument is the league position, I personally think we are in a false position given performances this season.. Yes people will argue you can’t be in a false position, but this is a statement regularly offered by GB himself although about other teams.

Bowyer needs to go as soon as possible

I wouldn't know on a Sunday, I would think a similar time to normal, although I'm not sure an extra training session will do anything for that abysmal showing yesterday, yes humiliate the players but as a team they offered very little with regards what they do at training I don't see the point.
Never seen Julian down at training what could he offer just a fan like us, one game is not going to change anything and Cheltenham was always going to be a big game well Mr Bowyer it just got bigger.

I agree to certain extent. I will keep saying this, you don’t have to have an either or short term v long term plan, we need both. Let’s say we suddenly decide to have a long term strategy throughout the club at all levels. We leave Bowyer in post, he is not under any circumstances the right manager for this club, but he stays until the end of season and we fail our no. 1 target to get promoted. The majority of fans would never forgive the club for allowing that to happen. Warnock, and I am no real fan of this man, he knows how to get results is put in until the end of season it fits with his plans as well, at the same time as appointing him, we also appoint someone like Nathan Jones, and his main role is to assess what is needed for next season. We also need to be looking at bringing in good football coaches. If we fail to gain promotion that would be a real downer, but I think most fans would forgive the club because they could see we are trying to plan for the long term. If Warnock does one of his pulling a rabbit out of the hat, happy days, and we have continuity. This will require investment and it will be down to Rupp, but for me he either is patient and waits for his payoff, or he sells at a discount rate. Doing nothing is not an option, he could lose the lot if we spiral downwards. Rhodes needs to find a really good CEO pronto.

Good points and I agree that we need to re-evaluate our off field structure. It's all been thrown together ad hock and we are paying the price now. Rupp has to decide and with experience available for change, Rhodes needs to act decisively. Our support base is essential to our survival week to week and what is being dished up is an insult to anyone's intelligence. Get tough, get pro and kick this Club onwards with purpose, drive and energy and kill the negativity hanging over this regime for heavens sake.

    Spot on..

Thing is we could of done this.

Our owner is worth 150m. When Stephen Warnock was going on about it's a shambles training at a school. The reaction for me was a defensive shambles. We could of said something along the lines of Mr Rupp has fully taken over at Bradford City now, he's an ambitious man that wants to take Bradford City forward and one of the things we will be looking it in the near future are things like our training ground. Bradford City have high expectations and we want to go to the next level etc etc The club is negative and then we wonder why we don't have a queue of offers for it.

Only thing I hear about Mr Rupp is he's not into football, he's taken the McBurnie money and won't spend his own! So what's the point in him? He might as well sell the club. He's nearly as bad as Edin.

Rhodes is offering nothing different to when he owned the club.

As you say the aim is try to keep the fan base because we are losing fans. We live in a world in which everything is going up. £150 for a season ticket needs to be seen as value and entertainment. Bowyer is destroying the club and malking Rhodes look extremely foolish with his I want 20k season ticket sales! Not going to happen with Bowyer! Lucky if you get 10k.. get rid of Bowyer!

Bowyer and Drury should go to give the club a chance.

I wouldn’t think an absentee owner works well in any business least of all football. You’d think he’d want to pop in occasionally to see how his investment is going on.

I rather suspect the mill is grinding too slowly. I can see Rhodes sitting at his desk on Monday drafting his weekly report seeking to put a positive spin on things as an act of self protection. He will also have to acknowledge things are not entirely good however, to protect himself from the accusation of complacency. Maybe Mr Rupe gets to read this later in the day when it’s been translated and also discovers from
It his team are playing again the following day. So naturlich he decides to await Wednesday morning’s report. Only if that contained really dire news might he decide to pick up the phone and ask some questions. The window is almost about to draw its curtains. Maybe he decides to wait for Monday’s post and goes back to his main business of running his factory. You could see this happening could you not? You could see Bowyer still being in post a week today especially if we were to win on Tuesday typically via a pen and a sending off. Cynical? Yah, richtig!

Bearing in mind Rupp has been stung before by ignoring the warning signs that something wasn't quite right, I'd hope he has learnt his lesson and will act sooner rather than later this time.

Regarding Stefan Rupp, it's probably worth referring to Width Of A Post's notes on the last Bradford City Fans Media Meeting (13 January 2020), where Bradford City's Ryan Sparks confirmed:
    and
    https://widthofapost.com/2020/01/21/bradford-city-fans-media-meeting-managing-the-bumps-in-the-road/

So Stefan should not have to wait for any wait for any "weekly report". He should already be very aware of the mood amongst supporters and I would be extremely surprised if a long conversation doesn't take place between Stefan and Julian before Tuesday's match; indeed, that conversation may have already taken place.

Ryan Sparks (or whatever he's called) that was an embarrassment.

I can't go to meetings like that. Answers from a person that wants to keep his job.

Credit to him for turning up to them but the bollocks about last season and Edin is embarrassing.

Bowyer has a job to do now and he isn't doing a good one.

I think today should be about assessment and planning, rather than ‘on the training pitch’.

There are a number of self assessment forms that the FA and other organisation’s provide. These should be completed by the players and management team.

The players and management need an honest and frank dialogue on why things are collapsing. What is causing the problem, how can it be changed/improved on an individual/sector of the team and whole team performance.

What is the problem-Why does it occur-What can can be done about it-Who needs to change-How can it occur.

They'd meetings after the Carlisle and last week agains Scunny.

Sure things have been aired over and over faced to face.

Also remember players have what's app groups.

When you've lost the dressing room meetings don't matter.

The problem is GB doesn’t see it. How can you change things when you have no idea what your best team is, constantly changing the team in hope rather than a thorough thought plan?

Now 59.8 sack versus 32.9 wanting him to stay as of Sunday 26th.

Less than a third of voters want him to stay in the job. The guy is finished I wish people could see that.

It’s not gonna happen. I just can’t see Rupp and Rhodes wanting to go through the whole interview process again. I also can’t see Rupp putting his hand in his pocket to pay off Bowyer.

Those asking for McCall. He’s done bugger all since leaving us. He’s average at best. If he wasn’t one of us, we’d not even be mentioning him. Can’t see him wanting to work for Rupp anyway.

We’ll scrape a win on Tuesday, and everything will be rosey again in the eyes of the management.
