Is it me but looks a lack of confidence/belief within the playing personnel?

Colchester played some neat football but never looked like scoring. We looked far better playing a back four rather than a five although a now goalless in three Doyle is a concern. Connolly no end product at all is also a worry. Thought Taylor had a decent enough game as did McCartan but in truth it was a poor game of football with virtually nothing created by either side. Important not to let Colchester win though.

They drew with Crawley, Stevenage and Morecambe just recently - that's what we're happy with? The same as those sides?

Says it all that you're picking out games from 4 months ago to illustrate what a great point it is.

You can't blame one player for having one shot on target in 90 mins and only 9 shots on target in our last 5 games. Thats less than 2 a game. We love to single out players here but you can't stick this one on Reeves despite his poor performance tonight.

I am picking out results over 13 matches where they are unbeaten home and away. Colchester away is a tough game and an excellent point

Just like Scunthorpe, it's 1 win in 6 for Colchester.

Irrelevant if the defense keeps it's mean spirit, we've shown tonight and all season (only conceding more than two goals, once)

We hardly scored in the 2015/16 play-off season and I know that ultimately we didn't get automatic - but few teams concede less than 39 goals in the lower leagues (which is currently pro-rata for our season) in a season and don't get automatic

However, scoring lots of goals never guarantee's the same

In that season, Burton got promoted (when we actually only conceded 40) by scoring just 57 goals. Peterborough scored 82 and ended up 13th

It's not a bad point, but no better than okay.

A draw at a team that can't stop drawing.

The unbeaten run stretches to 2.

Perhaps it's because we're 5th and firmly in the promotion race? : unamused:

It’s not a bad point and the performance sounded OK if not spectacular.

Ultimately 1 point, aka same **** different day when will Bore-ya grow a pair and play some midfielders that can create/score, we need to start making winning a habit.

He will be to the dug out at Mansfield and as we are sitting nicely in 5th that is exactly where he should be

We need to go to Mansfield with confidence that we can win, their form hasn't picked up since they changed managers and we have already beaten them at home, no reason that we shouldn't target this as our next away victory.

Unfortunately Mansfield are in exceptional form with 1 win in 6, it's form like that that makes them really hard to beat - like Colchester.

    Isn't it, @Park bantam@Park bantam?

Who says anyone's "happy with that"? Some of us are happy with our position and respect this division, plus feel that given the disruptive nature of injuries to key players - there is no reason for the doom and gloom merchants

Unfortunately, as all the teams in the race have noticed, there are no easy games. More fool you, if you thought we were should 'tearing up' this league

Incidentally, I was as pissed off as you probably was at 1655hrs on Saturday
