Agree about the goalie being man of the match mate I couldn't understand why AOC was given it.

Mellor can't play that position.. he's had a shocking season.

I believe Mellor would be better at CB but in all honesty i would sell him or look to get rid of him as he is truly shocking for us.

 

It also kind of worries me that ppl are saying, let’s wait til Donaldson is back, let’s wait til Devit is fit etc. Let’s wait til Doyle is back.

Without any clear direction and gameplan from the manager, it doesn’t matter who’s coming back if no one knows what they are meant to be doing.

 

Did anyone see who ended up with captains armband after Vaughan went off? He gave it to Doyle and tried putting it on his arm but then I saw Doyle pass it on and then it was passed on again

He said he was furious that Shay McCartan almost cost us a point by having the arrogance to dribble past their midfield and defense in order to setup a goal scoring opportunity for Doyle/Reeves that should've resulted in a goal

AOC got MOM for playing the entire 96 mins covering Right Back & Centre Back. Mellor was absolute cack today !

 

Just watched the highlights, for the goals conceded the defence looks even worse on video than they did in the flesh, absolutely shocking performance.

 

There's no denying the football is terrible and we should be performing way above the level we're at.
My concern is that the toxic atmosphere and targeting of players like we saw last season, is creeping back into valley parade again. The players will go back into their shell and we'll slide down the table. We as fans, can't drag VP back to very place we hated not 10 months ago, where players were drained of any confidence they had.

We're in a good position, false possibly, but still in with a chance. Booing only encourages the opponents and gives them a lift and brings us down. I can't see the board replacing Bowyer so what does the club do?

He's got to sort that midfield out. One good enforcer in the middle of the park could transform this team, with maybe a right back thrown in.

 

Palmer wasn't here last season and Mellor is utter pants.

 

Fair comment. I gave Mellor a 3/10 earlier in the season and today it is a ................. 1.

The row in front of me were shouting resign Bowyer all game along with constant slagging off any player who hit a bad pass etc.

That said, the players have to show some balls and, as Gary Jones said on t'radio, take the game to the opposition instead of being dictated to.

God loves a tryer. Today quite a few seemed destined to hell.

 

I think that's why we need a good midfielder, willing to put his balls on the line. Chopping and changing constantly doesn't help either.

They have done that for the last 10 seasons. I honestly don't know why they come to games.
