In his post match reflections our manager said Scunthorpe are a good side in a false position and bet that by the end of the season they’d be much higher. If he’d said we’re a poor side in a false position and by the end of the season we’d be much lower few would argue with him.

 

Why do we always just go names as new manager? Time to think outside the box. Get someone with a clear way of playing and back them with a good squad.

possibly someone out of non-league? Shrewsbury plucked Ricketts from there and done well.
Evatt doing a brilliant job at Barrow. Flowers done well at Solihull. Not saying it’s an easy one to jump up but we have had some real shite down the years

I agree, I don't want the same old washed up managers. We lack an identity on the pitch and we need a manager with a vision and clear style of play. And preferably that style is one aligned with the 21st century.

Not Tim flowers though btw, he makes Bowyer look like pep.

 

As long as he's manager of my team I'll back him, not happy today but the season doesn't rest on our game against Scunthorpe, I've posted it will be hard against Colchester and Mansfield but I've watched Bradford City too long to say we won't get anything from those two games.
I'm feeling a lot better than I was at 5pm that's for sure.

Maybe you haven't heard GB on Radio L666ds talking the result up and getting the lads to "go again" on Tuesday. Christ they didn't "go" today, apart from a 4 min spell where we scored our goals. Which could be argued has been our best spell of play in the last 10 games or so?

 

Are you looking for divine intervention? Taking a manger to away games hasn't worked so far?

You know what ? I think Warnock would go for a Director of Football role with Stuart in the Manager role. Warnock has said on TSport that hes still got another job in him ? And Stuart could just hit the ground running.

I think that something has to change and soon be it Boreyer out or more likely Dreary stood down. Or be more radical. But these players are not performing for the current management.

 

To be honest once McAtee turned Paudie he was no where near catching him to take a yellow and AOC was just backing off and once you get yourself into making a tackle in the box it has to be clean, but credit to the kid 20 years old he had the balls to keep going.

 

For your sake I hope Warnock hijacks the team coach and takes them to Mansfield himself
