From where we started in the summer taking into account our litany of injuries so far I think it’s a credit to Bowyer we are where we are

 

I didn't suggest 442, but a greater speed and movement from all the team. Quick to strike - But also just as quick to defend, and holdfast.

 

YES ......... Beyond my initial expectations, too.

 

Is Ismail out for the rest of the season then? What if he's available for all of the rest of the season? Why do we need an out and out left winger, when we have Connolly? Or is he not playing

So we'll have two wingers and no proper defensive midfielders then? Are we now forgetting about defending?

 

There 6 points clear at this stage regardless, if that isn't being better than everybody else then i give up. Imagine anyone not praising a team 6 points clear, baffling to say the least. And please, after what i've witnessed this season, lets not go down the attacking route. Bowyer has done a good job so far but it ain't off the back off attacking prowess, its down to defence.

 

Connolly is a full on right winger, we ain't talking Mark marshall here. At a push the best option is pritchard but that negates what Pritchard does well, coming into the box late to score goals.

 

Pritchard could play left. He's a hard worker and looks defensively aware so it could give Wood more cover to help him bomb on.

And of course Pritchard also puts in an excellent cross when he gets the chance.

 

Connolly hasn't got a left foot, he's ineffective at LW

 

But Reeves doesn't 'sit' in front of a back four and stay, say, a couple of yards behind the play. He's more of a box to box midfielder as he is good running with the ball, when on song

If Pritchard isn't an attacking midfielder and he's not a winger, then I don't know what he is. Cooke is also creative and early season showed some great passing skills. And we forget that Devitt is due back. Plus we've got Connolly and Ismail, i.e. at least four players who can be creative at their best, when we can play three at the most. Not certain why we need more

 

I'll see at keelham farm shop to sort this out.

 

We're not going to leave a 20 plus goal scorer on the bench.

Vaughan will more than likely get a 2 match soon anyway.

 

So all that supposed attacking talent and football that could send a glass eye to sleep. Either the players aren't as good attacking wise as you think or Bowyer is more defensive then Parky and Tony Pulis put together.

 

But 6 points difference after 25 matches, doesn't warrant all the negativity about our play and awe at how they are playing

Note, that when they've had injuries / unavailable players that's when they not won. Somehow, despite a constant list since the start of the season - we've managed, but this doesn't get any respect

 

I don’t think we will do much in this window if Doyle stays don’t forget bringing him back will cost the club over a 100 grand in wages

 

With Devitt coming back I think I agree with Banbrotam. An Anthony Grant type would be an excellent signing if we can offload Palmer and any 2 of Devine, Anderson or Akpan
