If we bring Doyle back then Bowyers not the man to manage him. Bring back Doyle and bring Stuart back and then watch the roof rise ! Definitely worth it and really easy to do. Doyle wont want to come back to work with a manager who didnt rate him ?. But if he sees our Ginger Leader in the dugout then I reckon he will buy into that ?

 

For all those calling for his head, where did you expect us to be at this stage of the season?

The football ain’t pretty, but promotion is the requirement and we’re on track for that. Why rock the boat (not that the board will)?

His brand of football won’t work in league 1, but it’s working in league 2, however turgid it is.

We sit behind the ball at home ourselves. Full expect another 532 with no will to win yet again.

 

From what I heard the only reason they didn't have a shot on target was because of blocks by Paudie, Mellor and O'Connor in out penalty box.

That's very different to us bossing the game, holding possession and not giving them a sniff.

Why would it be us and not any other team that take over should Doyle return and Swindon nosedive
Plymouth are known to finish strongly in the second half of the season we should be more aware of our own failings

 

That was dire. Glad I came down for the weekend with my kids in London and not just for that shite.
We created almost nothing. Not a single corner all game. No creativity. Connolly and Ismael left on the bench while our strikers toiled with no service whatsoever.
Parky could be pragmatic and dull but this is taking it to a new level.
I've nothing against 3 5 1 if the wing backs get forward, but they didn't. So it was mostly 5 3 1, against a team that hasn't won for 9 games FFS.
And what the hell has happened to Cook? We were told he wanted to be in a more creative role. He's now got Reeves playing DM behind him so create! He's disappeared off the radar.

1. Clean sheet - positive - deserved for blocks made
2. Disappointed not to get 3 points but we didn't quite do enough in the final third (obviously...)
3. Their goaly made a good save but it was a bit disappointing from us today
4. We gave too many fouls away and gave them chances to get the ball in the box
5. Their goaly has made two good saves but we should have created more
6. Last week was successful so didn't want to change the formation
7. The delightful thing is we have options in personnel and formation
8. Pitch was very heavy that's why Reeves came off - had cramp not injured
9. Two clean sheets, one win and a draw, its not too bad
10. This period is an exciting time (woooo!)
11. No reported injuries despite a heavy surface

We have no divine right to be above Swindon, I agree. I just want us to maximise our chances.
